Well this is something interesting I found. This child is 16 years old and hasn't aged a day from being a toddler.

When do you think we can use it in out own genes, and why might be its implications?

To make it politically, I think this kind of makes the idea of preventing children with mental retardation from being born ignorant, as these random genes can have benefits once in a while. You never know what you get in the mystery box of genes.

What's your thoughts on living forever if you could stop at one age?

I think I'd stop aging in my 25-30s. Still handsome, and not old enough to have any issues.

So can anyone explain this? I'd like to know.

if her doctors and specialists and all those people who have been studying her for 16 years cant explain it, i seriously doubt any of us could.

I wonder if some pharmaceutical company will want to "hire" her when they figure it out though.

I saw this newscast when it aired. Very strange, for sure. She did have a number of seizures when she was a baby and a tumor. My uneducated guess is that the part of her brain that told her to grow was damaged/shut off from the tumor or the seizures.

The doctors mentioned that she is still growing, just not a lot, and only certain parts of her grow at a time.

What disturbs me is that the father kept stating....almost bragging how his tiny daughter held the secrets to the fountain of youth and something in her blood or DNA was going to help millions of people stop aging. Age is something we all have to face, it is natural. I don't know...there was just something about him that disturbed me.

I remember hearing occasinally about people like this.
There's a fellow who's in his thirties at this point, still in the body of a ten year old.
However, his mental abilities were not handicapped.

And his body still aged, it was just less obvious.
From my limited knowledge of biology, it seems the proccess that makes us go from toddler to adult, and the inherent differences between the two were canceled out, leaving her to continue on, aging and such, while still maintaining the same shape of a toddler.
Poor kid.

That is so amazing.
I wonder if she is going to outlive them all?
how long can she live if nothing on her ages except her hair and nails???
At least she has older sisters to take care of her when her parents get too old.
