Object near the Sun, seems to be heading toward the Sun

There are actually three satellites observing the Sun right now.
1) STEREO B is behind us in orbit around the sun. It gives us a little bit of a preview of what's coming our way on the Sun's western limb as the Sun rotates. It does miss some of the Eastern limb of the Sun.

2) SOHO is about 1.5million kilometers away from us, directly between us and the SUN. It provides a full view of the same face of the Sun which we see.

3) STEREO A is ahead of us in orbit around the sun. It gives us a long preview of things that be may still be happening when the part of the Sun just around the eastern limb comes back around.

We don't have the capability of seeing the far side of the Sun (until it rotates into view of STEREO B) but we do have excellent coverage of what's going on on the near side.

BUT! You failed to mention that sunspots are actually openings for alien aircraft to re-enter the center of the sun so that they can transport to anywhere else they want to in the galaxy

No.
Ulysses never gets anywhere near the Sun. It was, is, and will be (for a very long time) far outside of Earth's orbit.

What's the light coming from behind the object. It's almost as if this object (whatever it is) is hiding something that is going on with the Sun.

No it is not hiding anything.

The light is glare or something.

If this object is Mercury, ( it may very well be as Phage has pointed out early on) why hasn't it moved?

Phage, you have probably forgotten more than I'll ever know on this subject. Will you please explain why the object appears to have stayed in the same spot over a period of day's? How can that be? What is the bright light coming from behind it?

There is a spot on the surface of the Sun to the left. That spot is identical to the surface of the Sun behind the object but on a much larger scale. What is the glare from, the surface of the Sun? It would have to be wouldn't it?

Mercury is moving along in its orbit very nicely. Perhaps you haven't seen the more current images.

Cool pic!
It's a good thing we are keeping an eagle eye on the sun.
We have the technology and the means to make the fear go away with science.
This scare reminded me of the Y2K scare!

How about Stereo A Mercury entering into a light explosion, much bigger than any background star standing at many light years away.
