This might not be so good as some others but I'm just experimenting a little with some different writing styles and keeping it short and simple.
Either way let me know what you think.
~Ambience~
Ambient street lights silhouette her face
Reflective drops of uncertainty stream down her cheek
She cries to herself how did I reach this place?
How did I end up here, how could I be so weak?
So beautiful her image glows within the dimly light
Her eyes shimmer and sparkle through the harsh lonely dark
Yet cold and lost she is on this chilling night
She asks herself about life, should I try to leave my mark?
A man walks by and hears her cries of helplessness and fear
This man is also lost in life and struggles all alone
He walks up to her and says what is wrong my dear?
She says don't bother I'll just send you running home
I'm quite sure you won't scare me, I've suffered my own too
She said but have you suffered through endless hurt and pain?
I've hurt for years, perhaps just as much as you
And no one deserves to go through this, no matter what the gain
Listen here he said to her as he explained his view
I don't care what anyone says, you don't deserve that life
So beautiful inside and out, no one truly knows you
This world is full of uncaring souls but somewhere there is light
You really think so she said as she started to smile
He said of course as he lifted her head to his
But something amazing happened and they stood there for a while
Soul mates now found and bound in the light of ambience
