North Korean Ship Turning Around

www.cbsnews.com

(CBS/AP) The North Korean ship Kang Nam has turned around and is heading back toward the south coast of China, reports CBS News national security correspondent David Martin.

The ship, which left a North Korean port on June 17, is the first vessel monitored under U.N. sanctions that ban the regime from selling arms and weapons-related material.

Interesting move. I took a few moments to think about this. Seems like a double pronged move. Send the ship out empty to provoke an inspection. When the US inspects, it triggers a war. But failing that, pull the ship back with information and you know have information about what routes you can take without driving a reaction.

Now he sends the ship back to port and sends another ship out that has been quietly fitted with a nuke. He sends that one out and the US leaves it alone as well, just monitoring it. It goes out either into the middle of the fleet or to a US island and detonates.

I see as the above poster states, this was a ploy, testing the waters so to speak. Definately need to watch the future movements from NK as Lil Kim and his advisors are smart, carazy but still smart enough to urge others to start a war.
