Al Franken won the election months ago.

Norm Coleman is either a poor loser, or the RNC ("Rush" National Committee) made him protest for this long.

Yeah really, what right do the people of Minnesota have to elect him!? Democracy is killing this nation! Norm Coleman is a true American for fighting his loss. If only Bush was still in office too.

OMG ~ he was completely a poor loser. He didn't know when to quit this one and he did nothing but completely embarrass himself. But I don't know if he has the common sense to know that he was embarrassing himself.

He would not concede and looked like an ass as a result.

You are completely clueless. You obviously haven't been paying attention to this saga.

I'd say more, but I respect the T&C's of this site.

Apparently, only to some. It wasn't clear on, or after, election day who won. In fact, the victor changed a few times! I know that if I was running, and then, on election day, and then subsequent recounts, my opponent was demanding that votes not be counted, I wouldn't take that lightly either.

Uh huh, just like a Fraken campaign worker that was counting votes for him. Then there was the issue that a Fraken Campaign worker "found" a trunk full of ballots in the trunk of her car.

The courts didn't let votes get counted, etc. Whatever.

As far as Mr. Franken winning, well, good for him. Quite Frankly the democrats can 'destroy America' with or without him.

The thing is, is that they did recount them and then Norm disputed that and wanted the absentee ballots recounted again. It just went on and on and while I agree with you in not giving up. This was on our news nightly and he just came off in the end like a poor loser. He eventually forgot why he wanted the recounts. He just really never came to terms that the people spoke and they wanted Frankin.

You need to come back to reality there. Sure they are two sides of the same coin, but now the dems have a filibuster proof congress. There are no checks and balances now.

The political divides are there, especially on things like Health Care and Cap and Trade. There is not once single group that owns them all. It is divided.
