I thought this was an interesting article on Drudge today. I’ve seen this “eye” too, especially in recent press conferences, various meetings and news flashes. Are we seeing the “real” Obama coming out of his shell? I think it’s a real possibility. He has dropped his sunny disposition on several occasions to members of the press and let’s not forget the icy cold facial expressions in his recent meetings with Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu. I know everyone in the world was hoping he was going to be the glimmering shining hope that we so desperately need in these days. When I watched the YouTube video where the little children were singing his praises and celebrating his plans to bring us into the light, I knew we were heading for a fall. No man will ever be that glimmering light, because he will be a man and only a man. Obama is just a man, flawed and emotional. Do I think he has nefarious motives in his leadership of our nation? Do I think he is purposely spending far more than the government is taking in taxes in order for our capitalistic society to fall, allowing him to usher in a new way, a socialistic structure to give all of us health care, unemployment checks, and a state run education? Maybe…but that doesn’t matter at this point because we have voted him in and we’re stuck with him now. Let’s just all hope he has mercy on us and we can resemble at least something like the prosperous nation we once were when he finally leaves office.

If you can afford to shoot the evil eye at all the most powerful leaders on the planet, then you have an ace up your sleeve. This man knows his regime is unstoppable, and that no amount of debt with stand in the way of the empire that will be built in his name. I dont even want to know the true capabilities of the US army, because i dont think i could handle it.

Yeah I too have noticed this look in press conferences, usually directed at the corps reporter for Fox...lol. Generally anyone who challenges him in the press conferences gets this look. I first noticed it when he first met Netanyahu and they had that presser in the oval office. Almost like he is trying to use the Force.

Yeah I noticed, I noticed it a year ago when I first saw him. I knew he was not what his handlers were claiming him to be, that he was a lower than a snake's belly. I also believe he did have sex and smoked crack with that homosexual guy, and with the church piano player, and who knows who/what else. Bad News Barry, that's what I called him long ago.

whatever he really is, people appear to be coming out of the chant trance they were in during the campaign. maybe because he can't do the chant during press conferences and prime time speeches so the effect is lifting.

the fact that he does the evil eye to powerful world leaders doesn't, to me, indicate that he is unstoppable, only that he believes he is. he believes in his personality to win over anybody, and displeasure is enough to get people to come around to his way of thought. however he has proved to many of us that his judgment isn't that great so don't worry about his unstoppable power. it's all in his mind.

not to say he won't make a real mess of things, because he's already got a good start on that.

it is interesting that he is so obsessed with fox news, the only tv channel that questions him, and that fox is rising ever higher in the ratings while the broadcast networks and other (in the tank) channels are plummeting. you'd think he'd try to woo FNC instead of glaring at them. that's an example of his poor judgment.

The thing that scares me a little is what will he do when he realises he is loosing his grip on the American public? What will he do out of desparation to us in his anger? Probably more than just give us the "evil eye."

He's not really a leader, as such. That is he's never developed these skills. he's more of a surfer. he's a talker, and good at saying things people want to hear, which he uses to get agreement on contradictory things. i read an article about how he "ran" the harvard law review and it was that. all his personal success has come from cultivating certain people and surfing on top of their and his rhetoric. with the help of some enforcers like rahm and other chicago political machine people.

i don't see in him any particular respect for the military, much less understanding of what it's all about, or even any real respect for the american people. he surfs on waves created by groups, rides them as far as he can go, then switches to another wave. he rode waves of voters who wanted to believe in his values, most of which have proved to be non-existent (like transparency, bipartisanship) in his campaign.

what did he do about the pirates holding an american citizen hostage? about iran? about honduras? he makes stern statements. he has no clue what to do if people don't respond to his personality.

he surfed into office with a killer majority of democrats. i say this just as it is announced that al franken becomes the new senator in minnesota. obama's idea of bipartisanship is inviting a republican to his superbowl party or his luau. he negotiates with his personality, not content.

as long as there is no violence towards him, he can't institute martial law. i suppose he can start detaining anybody who speaks against him, but i doubt if that means people on ATS. i doubt if he knows we exist. he can crash the economy and the dollar, but he's doing that anyway.

will he try to woo back the american people or glare at us or bully us to get us back?

I'm sure some of those negative points are due to the racists who despise Obama even more so now.

A friend of mine told me about this a few weeks ago, some reporter asked him a question he did not like and Obama stared at him like he was trying to melt his face off with eye lasers.

This man is about as sly as a snake. He is turning the government upside down with his policies: czars established and insulated from congressional oversight, appointing radical judges to the Supreme Court, cap and trade, carbon taxes, phenomenal spending followed by phenomenal taxes, nationalization of private business, and many many more . . .

He is beginning to show himself as a usurper and a man who is above Constitutional safe-guards for the balance of power in government. As time goes by, he continues to get more radical! He gives the evil eye to people as a stern warning that they will pay for dissent if they don't walk his path. Make no mistake, he is a walking near the third rail in regards to the Constitutionality of his policies and legislative proposals. In essence, he is slowly neutering the press and the Legislation Branch. He is consolidating power exclusively to the Executive Branch.

Lets go way back because the scheme happened during the times of ancient Rome. For example, when Emperor Augustus restored order after the assassination of his father, he chose to keep the legislative bodies in place; and in session but only for face values' sake. So the people thought it was a Republic but in all reality it was Autocracy, because the Emperor had all say in the policy of the empire. The Roman Senate might as well have been theater and I fear our legislative branch is going in that direction. It is a very scary time.

Just remember who spent the money that has left Obama no options but to aquiesce to foreign pressure: the neo-cons. But dont think the bailouts are a Russian, Chinese, Japanese or British plot. That's all homegrown good ol' US greed @work.
