I posted everything he FREEPMAILED me at the start of this thread.

He didn't have anything else to add or even guess about it.

He did not know if it would be OBVIOUSLY from God Almighty or merely dramatic enough to strike the fear of God in folks' hearts.

I don't either.

I hope it's NOT massive UFO stuff. That stuff can wait a lot longer, as far as I'm concerned.

Can you share with us though what he has shared with you,that has tended to prove true?

I haven't written any of that down.

And I have such a huge amount of that sort of thing cross my screen . . .

IIRC it was more stuff about international events of an END TIMES prophetic nature . . .

Some folks would probably cry that some of them were predictable for anyone reading the news closely--particularly the NON-MSM or alternative news sources.

However, some probably were more . . . unexpectable. I just don't recall any specifics at all.

I do THINK that he was the FREEPER BRO who knew two years ago that Michael Jackson would die when he was 50.

Did I say something about a drunken binge? I believe I attested that I would survive no matter what, red faced and staring at the pillars of fire that may scorch our earth. Survival is for the Strong and it's got nothing to do with scripture. Historical patterns can always be related to the present and humans are always trying to say "This will be the worst time EVER!"

Any of it could occur anyway but I wouldn't take it as by what has been written here.

My only hope is that it will play out like a movie.

I walk out of my house in the morning, like I do every morning to a pleasant day full of sunshine and hope. I bend down to pick up my paper and notice that a number of my neighbors are up and about...frantically packing their cars and running around like mad in robes. Only then do I slowly rise (in slow-mo even) to notice that a large portion of the morning sky is blocked out by a giant UFO.

GASP!

And scene.

I'm no Will Smith, so I'll probably NOT be riding around in a captured alien craft shooting down bad guys and smoking cigars. A shame really.

We'll see Thursday (the 2nd), I guess.

I'm as ready as I can be......... which is to say, I've unfurled the folding sky observation chairs, just in case. Actually, they're always unfurled. I don't think a massive UFO would strike the fear of God, at least not here. Hell, there's no place big enough for them to land.

The Queen's Navy was here in their 32-crew cruiser a few weeks ago, and the dang chopper couldn't find a place to land.

I think we're good. I did, however get extra cat food.

Ya never know.

Their are a few who are worried something will happen, on the 4th of july. I myself can see all kinds of explosions taking place all over the United State on the 4th.

I am not going after you (or your friend) personally but I have to say this:

It is one thing to make predictions and get it wrong SOMETIMES. It is another to NEVER get it right.

All I'm trying to say is, "throw us a bone" or something, you know?
Give us something A LITTLE more then mere speculation to hold on!
Or else ATS will have nothing different to offer then any other fraud blog out there...

I believe that one of the main reasons why ATS is the "SHREDDER's home", as you said, is because every attention seeker seems to be coming to ATS to find a sucker... and all of us non-suckers have to "shred" them (if you will) in order to make this place as clean as possible (I reckon it's not working very well, though)... And, actually, I am a little sorry that somethings people with really good will and sincere intention get in the middle and hurt... but life is tough, you know?
If we come forward (one way or the other) we have to be backed by something... or else, it's like a backfire: it comes out the exact opposite way you wanted to.

Well I at least appreciate the short notice, who needs to dwell on predictions years away, at least tomorrow is almost here and we'll see won't we.

As for predictions in general, many of the things we are seeing are just basically stating what is a fairly obvious possibilty, you can look at several headlines from several sources and easily find support for these ideas, the only difference is trying to guess a time, date or timeframe. This person doesn't claim to be a prophet however if something on his list does happen tomorrow then we'll all be like

and wondering what's next..

btw I feel that somehow expressing predictions about specific events can possibly change the outcome of the event

Well said, IMO. We don't want to pepper our thoughts with too much doom, lest we actually project that propensity. I think that's a possibility.

Like you, I appreciate that the OP is a short-term one. That alone takes a bit of sand. I'm kinda torn -- I surely don't want to see a "global" sign, that can't be good, but on the other hand, I wouldn't mind if the OP's friend had actually tapped into something valid and useful.

Of course, that kind of thing has a habit with us humans of worshipping the messenger.

We'll see.

Tank -- pucker factor up 7%? Yep. That's about right. Sort of a varigated pucker factor, to be applied upon the viewing of items that just might apply. I try to never go over 33%. Gotta keep a reserve.
