Unknown object

I was looking at the Mars Spirit photos of Spirit being stuck and noticed that there is a Object in top of the fram simular to a UFO sighting.

there are actually alot of these in the mars photos, but this one looks really nice.

Might have been discussed here already. My thoughts are it's probably a piece of crap on the lens. My reasoning? We just couldn't be that lucky!

That image is from the left camera. The image from the right camera, taken at the same time, shows nothing.

It seems to be something stuck to the lens. It also appears in this image from sol 1898

possibly,

but on my cameras when somethings on the lens it become blurry or it distorts the image, most the time you cant even tell when somethings on the lens, it usually only will effect the autofocust if your using that type of imaging device,

i take about 5000 photo a year, never has something on the lens show up like that

i animated them and it looks like burnt out photo sensor pixels. but the object and stars remain stationary in the sky

Stationary in the frame, not in the sky.
Bad pixels could be the explanation.
