I agree with the post that said bring it to the state level. The states are already facing off with the government, declaring their/our rights and the threat of secession is in the air.
After all, it is the foundation of this country, statehood. The states gave the government their authority and can take it back. Support that and your supporting it all.
I have been in the treches fighting the good fight for over 20 years. What I see is that "We the People" don't matter to TPTB. The issues rallied on in the past that had support of the People were ignored. We have to bring this to them in an organized and powerful level....there are 30 states now filing for their/our Sovereignty, affirmed by the9th & 10th Amendments. The letter we should be sending is to our State Legislators, a copy of this letter can be found at Patriots for America.
I truely hope we can restore our Republic and Constitution before the TPTB destroy it all.

Better under communist dictatorship : In Romania before 1989 everybody had work, no stress about that + 1 month free (and paid) every year. And at work people were much more relaxed, nobody was fired, people worked less, or pretended that they work spent time with their family and so on .
Only problem : do not say anything against Communism or the great leader.

People revolted out stupidity as I see it , anyway it was a coup, CIA was involved. Now we are slaves of the banks but we can chose between many brands of jeans ! We are afraid to leave 1 minute too early from our job, but we are free to vote some puppets. We call this "freedom".

Now : capitalist dictatorship you have none of the above relaxation. But you have the same thing : do not say anything against the system. Unlike then now you are ignored not jailed. Same as then - if you try a serious revolution you are jailed.

They have control of the mainstream news media, that unfortunately is the source for the majority of Americans.

If the American people do not wake up to what they are about to lose there is no chance of stopping this. Most people have no idea, and will only react when their utility bills triple in cost, when transportation companies are unable to haul goods to market because fuel costs go up dramatically and shippers simply cut production and the essential goods that are still shipped will go up in price... EVERYTHING is going to cost more, construction and transportation companies will be forced to make massive layoffs... Unemployment will skyrocket.... The Average Joe will then be saying WTF? but it will be too late....

The best and only hope we have is that the senate will stop this, people need to apply as much pressure as possible on their elected reps... It is the only way. Do not let them pass any of this destructive legislation without hearing from you.

I'm only going to start worrying when they find a reason to "shut off" Twitter, regulate blogging and block sites like ATS. The way people can instantly communicate and share information in today's world would be a major hurdle for the "PTB" to overcome if they really want to pull this off. So, until we face the same internet censorship that China and NK face, I can only take everything else with a grain of salt I'm afraid.

VOTE??? is this the best we can do?? Voting in my humble opinion is nothing more than eyewash. Look at New Hampshire in the primary Ron Paul was ahead in all the poles by 35% then lost with only 12%, this does not make sense...Are we sure our vote actually counts????

I think one thing we can do is start to identify like minded politicians, from either party. There are people who believe that the Founding Fathers were quite right in their concerns for preserving our freedoms.

One thing I have had to change is my view of politicians. I used to rate all politicians either up or down, good or bad, especially on certain issues that I believe so strongly in. *Now I'm starting to rate them on where they stand in protecting our eroding freedoms.

Also, which radio/tv/print people can be counted on to fight for our freedoms.

Spread the word. Forums like this and threads like this one by BURNTHESHIPS are important. People ARE reading this stuff!!!

So:
-id like minded politicians, and media people
-support them
-spread the word
-attend tea parties with friends

Oh, and I think we need to be more vocal at every opportunity. Pin them down with tough questions, and tough follow ups.

Neither, I don't let TV and Video Games or posts on forums dictate my life. I prefer to take as much in and then filter out the rediculous (such as the NWO theory) and at the same time have a little fun (shoot zombies in their zombie faces) I don't think that this dumbs me down at all, in fact... I've been learning much more since I got my xbox 360. You can stream documentarys straight from netflix instantly! You can feel free to encapsulate me into any group you find fitting, that doesn't make it true though.

I tend to view 'america is doomed' threads with a degree of skepticism usually. Its easy to distort and to unintentionally fear monger.

That said, however, its without doubt that certain basic standards of life in the USA are under subtle(and sometimes not so subtle) attack from our political leaders. That, saddled to a weak economy combined with a new and inexplicable pop-culture president with obvious socialist leanings is a recipe for internet dissent on one hand ---and outright revolution on the other.

Because one CAN see a grimness here. By 'here' I mean this board, in our places of employment, on the streets,on the news, etc.

Whats even sadder though, is I see a defeatist attitude simmering right below the surface. One hears people speak of being 'tired','weary',etc.

One sees people give up before the fight has even started.

People can get discouraged. People can say 'no one cares' People can prepare to 'bug-out' seeing little or no escape from these 'powers' that seem to close in from all sides, people can---as people always do----look for scapegoats, can look for reasons to what can easily be seen as madness.

But what right do we have to assume we are the first generation or group or segment to have faced grimness, weariness or strife? Is it human nature for people to be so wrapped up in the moment---in that ever elusive state of 'now'---that we cant stop and simply think our way out of this? Are we all so egocentric that we tend to see what WE face as insurmountable and unique in all of human history?

Well, seems so. Seems we forget hard times have been faced down before.


If some of you out there, or 'us' or 'me' or 'we' in here or whatever, see this threat as valid, IF we truly believe these things then lets all join together. Unplug the damned computers, set down the damned ipods and do something about it.

We, and I speak directly to my fellow Americans now, are in a unique, if a bit egocentric ,position in the world today. Easily hated, easily blamed, easily both savior and devil to conditions around the world. But we HAVE been there before. We came from fury, have been divided, reconciled, smashed, bombed, depressed, manipulated,glorious, hideous, right, wrong.We've won against incredible odds before, we've lost too, but we've never really been defeated in the true sense of the word. The Third Reich didn't beat us and neither will a group of greed driven mamby-pamby bankers and lawyers.


Maybe its time we stop apologizing, or referring to ourselves as 'sheep' or some great evil or 'dumbed down', maybe its time we stop looking to Iranian women and children for inspiration and instead look back on our OWN heroes. Let the damned villians stay there, let the damned greedy fools and crooks we have created be damned. Instead, lets rise as one and fix this, lets find hope, lets show the world what we REAL Americans are made of. Not just our silly labels of 'right' or 'left'. Lets put that back in the schoolyard and do what we once truly were good at:


LET'S INSPIRE RATHER THAN DICTATE to this weary world. Not control or police, but offer hope.

Because regardless of this being partial illusion or not, if the ball truly drops, the rest of the world isn't going to look to Iran or Europe or Asia for inspiration.

The best way to do a coup is to do it incrementally, rather than suddenly. This is the case with our country. They have been incrementally putting things into action for a long time, and for everyone to wake up at the end and say:

"Hold up! I don't like whats going on here!"

is not going to change anything. The NWO is going to be ushered in, regardless of what anyone does. (just short of TPTB coming out and telling their plans for FEMA camps, etc)
