you are correct.. but at the same time thats not British law...I mean yes we do have faith based courts but they still have to abide by british law..

If some poor woman is being abused by her other half for what ever reason they can just go the police station and do what the other 57 million other brits do..

most are to scared to question the faith.. but thats not our falut.. its down to them..

most people on this planet do not have a religion what so ever.. we just watch the nutters running about screaming gods name and making our life joke.. in loads of ways

no law what so ever has been passed to create ANY law for sharia or whatever ...

we cant force people to not belive in god.. we can only acomadate. and help with laws that we have for everyone!

As I've shown, current figures indicate that it most certainly IS going to happen? Or are you planning on taking up arms to prevent it?

Then they are no longer a Muslim and are liable to punishment of death according to Sharia Law.

Apologists are focussing on the arbitration aspects rather than the brutal, backwards, discriminatory details that is Sharia.

Surely even the most PC driven Islam apologist can see that once people are accustomed to Sharia then Muslim extremists will start implementing more and more aspects of this barbaric code.
It is indeed the thin end of the wedge.
Muslims HAVE to work towards imposing Sharia upon us all, by any means!

We must resist this at all costs.

Freeborn, as usual you never let facts get in the way of your opinions. I suppose there are benefits to the Bush era bigotry being allowed to vent its fury. For decades AfroAmericans have been telling the world of their suffering at the hands of bigoted hate merchants. Now these same barbarians are targeting a world religion.

This is a forum discussing Sharia courts in Britain!

Areas of this country are becoming no go areas for non-Muslims, (with Police turning a blind eye, oh how different it would be if non-Chriistian no-go areas were set up, but I suppose that is another arguement).
That is a FACT.

Muslims are the largest growing population group in the UK and if current growth and immigration levels continue will outnumber indigenous peoples.
That is a FACT.

According to the Koran, ALL Muslims must seek to impose and obey Sharia Law, wherever they live, by any means possible even if this involves deceit etc.
That is a FACT.

Sharia Law is barbaric and brutal and treats women unequal to men.
That is a FACT.

In areas where Sharia is practiced undue pressure is exerted upon women to agree to Sharia Law and it's judgements.
That is a FACT.

Do not speak to me about FACTS and Islam in my country.

I witness positive discrimination and people bending themselves over backwards to make excuses for Islam and it's evil's and I personally have had enough.
If they want Sharia, emigrate somewhere that practices it.
Pretty friggin simple!

I personally am agnostic and consider organise religions to be the bane of mankind.
But the extreme forms of Islam which is advancing upon us all is particularly brutal, barbaric, uncompromising and unforgiving and is the single biggest threat to freedom we face.
Freedom of choice, freedom of will and freedom of thought are the antithesis of Islam.
Sharia governs every single aspect of a Muslims life.
There can be no compromise at all.

If you have studied Islam and or The Koran or just Sharia alone you would understand that Muslims can not be content with just Arbitory courts, it is a basic and unconditional part of Islam that Muslims MUST try to impose Sharia wherever they live, by any means possible.

Like i said before i am living in England and have been since birth and i have seen a massive change in this country over the last 10, 15 years.... i'm not being rascist when i say this but where i live hardly anyone speaks English anymore.... so you can see where it's heading if things continue as is.....

first we had the halal meat everywhere (which is not what i want) but it's in a lot of these take outs now and I was and am happy with british meat!
Second we had the mosques popping up everywhere (which again i and many others don't want).
And now we have this knowledge of Sharia courts opperating in the country! (Again we do not want or need it here)

This is England and so if there is going to be any rules it should be the English rule!!!!

Like others have said you can't have a set of rules/laws for one people and another set of laws/rules for another people living in the same country..... simple as that

Actually my comment is highly relevant. You are the one that is bringing unrelated issues. This is about arbitration not the take over of a judiciary system. Further more you continue to elaborate upon your prejudices as if it fact and continue to engage in a discourse based on it.

Prior to the rennaissance the Muslim world acted as a safe harbour for forward thinking Europeans who fled The Spanish Inquisition etc.
But since then Islam has regressed and has become the most repressive religion around today and allows for no freedom of thought, will or choice.
If we value our freedoms then it must be opposed.
