Moved on? Ashamed to look back?

When you are ready to maturely discuss a policy without name calling and cheap shots., we will be here.

I am ready and braced. Remember: no name calling!

Because trying to discuss anything logically here is like trying to convince a tabloid to stop running cheap made up articles about celebrities. And it seems that is where many of you are getting your information from.

I am yet to see any logical discussion. Give it a shot - you might like it.

No offense but how out of it are some of you people? The man has been in there since JANUARY, how do you expect him to fix everything in that time? Those decisions aren't even his alone, he has a House and a Senate to answer to. This mess (which has been building for 30 some years) will take at least 10-15 years to fully straighten out based on past conditions, we are a hell of a lot better off than many countries are under their best circumstances. Would you rather being living in a cardboard box in Mumbai? Or practically anywhere in Africa?

The orgy days are over, get used to living with less. If McCain was in office we would be in a hell of a lot worse of a mess, we'd certainly have been in both North Korea and Iran by now (if advance troops aren't already in the later) and the market would still be collapsing.
This cycle is nothing new, it happens several times each century. The mortage crisis and resulting bank failures have NOTHING to do with Obama's policies, thank Clinton and Bush for that mess.
Tough times call for drastic actions and he has been pretty lenient so far, you don't see gas rationing like we did in the 1970s, food quotas or even the use of eminent domain for private sector use like we saw during the last Bush tenure. If you think you have some brilliant ideas to fix the world's problems, get off the g------m forum and go email him. I'm sure they'd appreciate a helping hand.

no offense either here, but instead of bailing out the bankers and his masters, obama could have given each american 3.1 million dollars to stimulate the economy. WOW now that would of been some change you could of beleived in! but nope he chose to bail out his masters and commanders.

PLEASE stop drinking the kool aid!

ok I'm kind of curious, so do you agree with the new policies he has enacted and the way he went about it?

We have gone on to better threads where people have more important things to discuss then whether he should of taken his wife on a date and how Michelle is evil because she started a garden that she probably doesn't work on. And how horrible Obama is for giving the Queen an ipod.

Hun you obviously haven't read through these thread. None of those non issues youmentioned have come up here.

just answer these questions for me.
1. do you approve of the policies Obama has enacted since he took office?
2. do you approve of the way he went about it?

(if you need examples just ask and I'm sure we can give you a couple)

Not in this thread no but many of the previous months threads. After awhile you stop bothering.

1. Do I approve of the policies? Yes.

I will give you some examples of the many campaign promises kept since it seems many need to be reminded:

reversing the restrictions on stem cell research
giving the Navajo Nation water rights
ending the war in Iraq
closing gitmo
allowing access to Cuba
overturn ledbetter vs. Goodyear
established the credit card bill
expanded loan programs for small businesses
SCHIP
funding to train doctors
restored funding for JAG
the Mathew Shepherd act

redo the student loan program
(this affected me personally within months of him taking office and took 3k of charges off my bill, so yea, I approve)

Every single one of these orders benefit a small group, minority group, and were campaign promises.

yea, he is really eroding rights and doesnt' care about Americans. Considering many of these are empowering people.

and I didn't even vote for the guy.

Yes, he did inherit a mess. Massive debt, war. And that cannot be negated no matter how much you want it too.

The fact is, this is what has been done despite inheriting massive debt and a war that is now ending. I think it is comendable.

In a word, YES.

OK, let me see if I can elaborate without falling into your trap.

I just got a root canal. I AGREE that it was necessary. I AGREE it was mildly painful and a nuisance. I did not ADVISE my dentist on how to perform it. ( Not familiar with the intricasies and complexities of modern denistry.) I trust him. If I didn't, I would no longer patronize his practice. BTW, I don't drink kool-aide, it diminishes your smile.

Regards....KK

Seriously, all the unbased apoctolypic bashing is old and tired, and we just are not wasting our time on the inane dribble anymore.

Because trying to discuss anything logically here is like trying to convince a tabloid to stop running cheap made up articles about celebrities. And it seems that is where many of you are getting your information from.

Quoted for truth.

Because honestly JulieMills do you think anything we Obama supporters say will make even the slightest dent on how you feel about him?

I would rather go outside with a hammer and pound on my balls for an hour than try to convince some rabid neo conservative what reality is.

Why don't you try and convince us? Of course, your favorite entertainment involving hand tools does not require such effort, but you have to give your appendices a break at least once in awhile...
