US Drone Attack on Pakistan Condemned

www.turkishweekly.net

The protest comes two a days after 80 people were killed and a large number of them sustained multiple injuries in the US drone attack in South Waziristan Agency,

What appeared to be the deadliest U.S. missile attack ever on Pakistani soil brought an unusual reaction since the fresh drone attack on Tuesday in a country that has previously denounced such strikes as an affront to its sovereignty.

It looks like the ongoing Drone missile attacks are seriously angering more and more Pakistanis. A funeral procession for some of the victims of an earlier drone missile attack was hit by hellfire missiles. 80 people were killed outright in the two attacks, and 154 injured, but missed the main target Baitullah Mehsud. The country's top Taliban leader, Mehsud is accused of masterminding the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. Angry Pakistanis have taken to the streets to protest the attacks. This is making things difficult for the Pakistani government, who are trying to oust the Taliban from northwest Pakistan. If the people get angry enough, maybe we will have another Iranian style uprising.

We sure do kill a lot of people in Pakistan considering that we aren't even at war with them. I would be pretty upset too if the roles were reversed.

You have to wonder about a call like that. "Let's bomb a funeral to kill one terrorist. It's not like that won't create thousands of new terrorists out of the people who will be enraged by us bombing funerals..."

Maybe it is a strategy? Bomb a terrorist, funeral gets scheduled and attended by terrorists, bomb funeral, more funerals get scheduled, bomb funerals, more funerals get scheduled, bomb them.... eventually the world runs out of terrorists. I think they are onto to something. The war on terror will be over before we know it.

Do they have a right to be angry at the Americans. I don't think so. Pakistan is the biggest breeding grounds for terrorists in the world today. They are given countless of millions of dollars of world money to fight these terrorists threats and what do they do with that money? They spend it on building a more powerful Nuclear arsenal. What are they going to do, nuke the terrorists in their country ? totally and uterrly incompetent. They are on the verge of becoming a failed state aswell. I hope that there are plans in the west to go in and secure these Nuclear weapons when pakistan does become a failed state so that the filthy terrorists don't get their hand's on them and cause millions upon millions of innocent deaths.
If the pakistani's were competent enough to fight there problems then the Americans wouldn't have to be involved so they have no-one but themselves to blame and be angry at.

Mate listen to yourself.
Most of those people were civillians and it is pretty arrogant of the americans to feel that they can bomb another country they are not at war with because a few people they are after might be attending a funeral.
They wouldnt do it to there own would they?

Just because they have no juristictian in pakistan so they cant just arrest them it doesent mean its ok to bomb a whole crowd hoping you will get them.

And this was while obama was condeming Iran for the violence during the protest last week.
Talk about hypocrits!

Does anyone else see how wrong this is?
