change color in signature,how to find thread

how do i change the color in signature? does this cost something? I tried adding the [color-red]........words.......[/color] but it didnt change?

How do I find a thread or my post that I posted in the day before. Sometimes they disappear from the front page or new posts and I cant relocate them? Yeah, I tried the search feature but that didnt work very well either. Yeah I can bookmark them but thats a pain.

you have to use the = symbol

so [color"="RoyalBlue1]TEXT[/color]

just without the quotes
