That's the whole thing isn't it.. 'survive longer'.
I have nothing against that if the quality of life in that survival time is good, thankfully it sounds like yours is, which I'm pleased about.
My 15yr old step son has cancer, he was diagnosed early last year, they operated/removed the tumours in his neck and chest and he's been having
radiotherapy treatment ever since.
It's now spread to his lungs, and we're awaiting results on his last scan, hoping the radiotherapy has killed it off. Fingers crossed please,
because none of us want to have to go through chemo..
So bearing all that in mind I am very interested in any 'proven' medication or therapy. I'll be keeping my eye out for this.
