Could we award negative stars or some such system for what we believe are bad threads or posts.

I wish they would funnel some of the same but different threads into one so I could actually get a chance to read them all. 4 or 5 threads regarding MJ? WHY? And then some members have admitted to reintroducing a previous thread under a different title and to me thats dumb. If the first one didnt receive enough posts then it should be obvious no one is interested. I am not trying to tell the MODS how to handle business but theres a crapload of threads that could be closed so that the more serious ones or informative ones get a chance to be read. Or it is possible I am at fault for reading past the first page on some of these threads but then I would have missed on some pretty funny posts some of which have made me laff so hard I got cramps or peed my pants.
