PS. Yes, there ARE two 33* ranks. One is Shrine or Templar. That is open to anyone (expensive to pay dues though - lots of activity to pay for). The other is a nomination.
I dont always agree with the nomination. I have known brothers that could explain euclids problem with great beauty and clarity....they were never nominated.

This is erroneous. There is ONE 33rd Degree and it is part of the system called the "Scottish Rite" Master Masons (3rd Degree) are eligible to join the Scottish Rite. They will receive the 4th - 32nd Degree. Some 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Masons will be elected "Knights Commander of the Court of Honor" Some KCCH members will be elected to receive the Thirty-Third Degree. An explanation of the system is here:

Keep in mind, that is for the Southern Jurisdiction, USA. The Northern Masonic Jurisdiction varies a bit from this, as does the Supreme Council of Canada, Mexico, etc.

The Thirty-Third Degree is an "Honor" given at the discretion of the Supreme Council, to whom the degree belongs. Explanation of ritual isn't generally a qualification for consideration, but rather work done for the fraternity, the community, church, etc.

How about Ultraman can i beleave in him to join, just kidding i just happened to be watching the show right now.
But one thing you said does puzzle me, how come you have no problem with a qabalists joining and not a muslim, qabalists are linked to the dark arts, magic, Aleister Crowley, very Illuminati like in nature if you will.
senrak i'm not trying to say every mason is bad, it's true they have done some good, but the elites you know the ones doing mock sacrifices at Bohemian Grove don't sit well with me, especially the photo the grove released with the real kid strapped to the gerny looking scared to death something wasn't right there.
