I put together the latest sighting of crop circles onto one list. I am sure I missed some important ones further back, but you can add them here

You can discuss the individual circle in the OP's post but this can serve as a directory list

Hi z,

I don't know much about crop circles but there sure seems to be a lot of them lately.

But they all seem to have a common aspect ...
They are all conveniently placed on fields that happen to have tractor/combine tracks. That common element is highly suspicious.

Are you aware of crop circles of significant complexity which lack that element of convenience.

Well I wasn't really into it much until I got the phone call telling me many of the new ones are made by MIT kids playing with beam weapons, something I covered in the Phoenix thread

But lets look at some data... like WHEN did they begin?

Crop circles were not known prior to 1970, apart from the one reported exception of the Tully, Australia Saucer Nest of 1966. Crop circles first appeared in the UK in the 1970's, starting with simple circular patterns and developing over time into huge and complex geometric formations. In 1991 two elderly landscape painters named Doug Bower and Dave Chorley confessed that they had been making crop circles in English grain fields since the 1970's after reading about the Tully, Australia Saucer Nest of 1966. The pair demonstrated how they did it for a film crew and told how they had devised the idea over a pint or two at their local pub. It would appear that the Tully, Australia Saucer Nest of 1966 is the earliest reported crop circle, although it is not what may be recognised today as a typical crop circle.

Well now... I recall the early ones. Those were the years I began looking a UFO's etc...

Mostly they were just round circles that were thought to be where saucers landed... then as the article say they 'evolved'

Now the people who started it all came forward... the guy who made this video below came forward on National Geographic

Like this one?

National Geographic and the camera man who faked it

Now in THIS one the description by the kid and Prof Hasslehoff (leaving out the fake on in the middle) backs my claim of a beam weapon... the flashes of light in the first animation, the heat after wards and the Profs electromagnetic radiation explanation. I call that hard evidence..

And just because I had to dig it up, it's in the Phoenix thread under this post

Consider this possibility..

And here is Part Two

I posted this crop circle in a forum about ancient history asking the people if they could identify the language. (link)

They say the characters are a combination of staveless ruins (
) and aztec/mayan language, ancient Phoenician.

Mayan Number 11 and 13. The three branched symbol maybe HE~meaning window literally and the Delta symbol signifies the word Door, possibly.

this is getting very strange

Hi zorgon, i note you mentioned doug & dave. Well after the one died the other has since come out and admitted that they took responsibillty for ones they hadnt done and that they didnt really do that many anyway but i cannot find a link to that interview but will keep looking.

Anyhow im thinking along the same lines as you with this man made but not from the ground theory.

I have some info that may back that up and give an insight as to why they happen in the same area.

98% of uk crop circles happen over where there is a chalk aquifer below and the uk is unique for this.

Crop formations in southern England overwhelmingly occur where this electrically-charged rock is closest to the surface. The largest formations and most frequent formations happen late in the summer when the aquifer is most run down, and the most water has therefore run through the most rock. The beginning of the modem phenomenon of large, spectacular formations begins in the late seventies and early eighties, a time when over-pumping for public water supplies began to lower the water table noticeably. Droughts have coincided with banner years for crop formations.

In England, our team has measured the kind of magnetic fields one would expect to accompany such electric ground currents in one field that has nearly annual formations. Four days later a major formation occurred there. Follow-up fluxgate magnetometer measurements four days after this sixty-foot dumbbell formation appeared showed that the magnetic readings and the currents which produced them had vanished. This is not unlike the discharge with that more powerful plasma—lightning. In that case ground current attracts the airborne plasma, and when the plasma (the bolt) hits the surface it neutralizes the ground current.

Limestone is the chemical twin of chalk. It too is calcium carbonate, but much less porous than chalk. It too has the ability to generate ground currents from interaction with water, but not nearly so much as chalk. Thus it is fascinating to note that limestone aquifers are the major exception to crop formations occurring over chalk substrata. Formations in England do happen a minority of the time on the large limestone aquifers there.

In the U.S. we have no substantial chalk deposits, but huge stretches of limestone aquifers: in Florida, on the Eastern Coastal Plain, throughout much of the Midwest, and virtually all of the Great Plains, extending into Canada. Finally a thin stretch runs down the West Coast. These locations are where crop formations occur. As in England, the most active sites seem to frequently be where an edge of the aquifer occurs or where a river valley has cut through the aquifer to produce an edge. Proximity to water is also typical (no surprise considering the current generated between water and the rock it ran through).

Theres seems to be a correlation between water the chalk aquifer and the circles, otherwise why do they not appear all around the globe?

Maybe the conditions favour some form of experimentation by the military?

Military helicotpers are seen landing or hovering near circles a lot and so this must lend some credibillity to it.
Also the military are aware of these balls of light that we have heard about. what these are i dont know but what if thewy are intelligently controlled (which they appear to be) and are in fact checking out what is occuring in the fields for themselves, esp if is military that is behind it, afterall we have heard of ufo's being seen over military bases - esp nuclear sites have we not?

The second crop circle actually looks like a Gold ufo I saw not to long ago, there was a report in the local newspaper as something fell behind a hill. I know also that during this time period that Nellis Air force base was under High security detail with men with fully automatic weapons on base. I believe after three weeks later there was news of 'Experimental aircraft' being tryed. But I didn't buy into this one, because whoever was in that aircraft seemed to be sending messages all through that night.

The manuvers this craft pulled seems too otherworldy to be one of our own, but then again who to say other wise, perhaps otherworldy people came in for a landing that week.

I have seen one black aircraft that seemed to be hovering one day just in the sky, and a shaft opened up from the back to let something in, just held there by what kind of propulsion system.

I have heard helicopters over my house as if they were going to land on it once. Who knows what they were looking at.

That big black aircraft seemed to be close by the area in which I lived in also.

I have no fear when it comes to presenting information on my part those in fear are those scared of something to lose, perhaps in the end the only thing to lose is ones mind.

The weaving in this one is extraordinary. Lost for words - it seems really powerful for some reason..anyone else get that with this one?

I think its fair to say that this one is another landmark in circle design just as the alien disc was.
However simple the pattern is that weaving, which follows the curves would be an incredibly hard task even in the daylight.

Thats going to have a few people rethinking there opinion on who's behind them.

This is interesting.....

I listened and talked to a number of people in there and opinion was mixed. What seemed to be interesting was that apparently it wasn’t there at 5.30 this morning!

Thanks for adding this thread. I had wanted to put one together but didn't have time.

I especially wanted to add the new "Weave Circle" that just showed up to get some discussion going as to how this one was made?

I know we have a difference of opinion on how crop circles are made, but I appreciate the effort you did in putting this post together.

Hopefully it will get some good discussion going.

Star and Flag for you.

I just put this in another thread by mistake
They say orbs are seen around them but who's to say they are alien they could be living in earth's atmosphere.
In world war 2 fighter pilot's saw them all the time and called them Foo fighters they might just be living creature's just like zorgons critters.
You just never know
