Very true. I think that he will rise to the ranks though. Not Stan Lee level, don't get me wrong.

Stevie Wonder posibly, The rest are not legends. Tom hanks will never be remembered as a legend. Legends are bigger than just your favorite movie star

haha, I can almost buy this. I'd also have to agree with the Janick comment.

But seriously,

Aren't legends supposed to be larger then life, have unprecidented achievements. Generally known for good unless a word like evil is included in their name(Dr. Evil). Known the world over and have a certain amount of longevity attached to their occupation/or reason for being a legend. Their infamy should cross cultures, countries and professions.

Too much controversy surrounding Jackson to consider him a legend. Maybe in the same way OJ Simpson is a 'legend.' More of a tragic figure, IMO.

I'll have to go with James Cameron because his films are incredible. He made the Terminators 1-2), Aliens, the Abyss, True Lies, Titantic, and oh yeah I can't wait for his new one Avatar. That movie is supposed to knock everyone's socks off. I'll give John Carpenter honorable mention for two masterpieces "They Live," and "The Thing."

I'm going to lay it on the line for

Ron Jeremy

God gave him only one gift and he used it as much as he could. He gave hope to the fat, dumb and stupid of the world.
Without him I could never make fun of my friend who has a "Ron Jeremy" mustache.
