Microsoft has gotten to this 'deserved' status because the holes that are in the software. I still use some Microsoft products but very rare, there are little programs that are for specialty items. Office from MS was a more less a rip of from Sun Corp and several others from the DOS days I7 used a spreadsheet then before MS basically took it from them. With 65536 ports on your computer, Microsoft thought it would be OK to use a few! And Vista is just another sign of the times.
