This Declaration is being widely disseminated to a majority of Americans who understand that no matter how many times a politician states that it is only the government that should be armed that these politicians are traitors to the very document they take the oath to protect and understand! Take heed, We will not be disarmed!!
Zindo

Citizens Declaration Of Non-Disarmament

Though foreign governments may disarm their subjects, we will not go down that road. We will not disarm and see our freedoms stripped away. The lessons of history are numerous, clear and bloody. A disarmed population becomes an enslaved population. A disarmed population is without power, reduced to a child-like obedience to the organs of a parental state. A disarmed population will lose those basic rights for which the citizens of America risked their lives and fortunes over 200 years ago.

WE WILL NOT DISARM!

The right of self-protection is the most fundamental right of all. It is a right that must be exercised against the predators of the streets, against the predators hidden within agencies of law enforcement, and against the most dangerous predators of all—those to be found in government, whose insidious grasping for power is relentless and never-ending.

WE WILL NOT DISARM!

Not in the face of robbers, rapists and murderers who prey upon our families and friends. Nor in the face of police and bureau agents who turn a blind eye to the Constitution, who would betray the birthright of our countrymen; nor in the face of politicians of the lowest order—those who pander to the ignorant, the weak, the fearful, the naïve; those who indebted to a virulent strain of the rich who insulate themselves from the dangers imposed upon other Americans and then preach disarmament.

After seeing what's going on in Iran, I now understand why it's important to have an armed citizenry.

I keep thinking, "what if these people had guns to shoot back with?"

Not that I'm encouraging armed revolution or anything.. but jeez -- when the police start assassinating young philosophy students for no reason, it's time to fight back.

Zindo:

I have always said we need to have a pro second amendment march on D.C. The only thing different would be that ALL participants must bring their own firearm. I think that this would really wake them up. One million armed people marching in peace on the capital would be a sight to behold, and might, just might, cause the people we put into office to realize we mean business.

all the fine socialists in history understood the wisdom of disarming the populace, and B.O. is no exception.

the problem is that pesky second amendment... a real poser, that.

the solution?

inhibit ammunition production and tax the dickens out of it!

you still have the right to bear them, but boy, its gonna cost ya!

criminals of course, as with all gun control efforts, will be unaffected...

“I do not believe people should be able to own guns.”

There is a quote from someone, I can't for the life of me remember the source, and I'm not in a place to cross check it right now, but it goes something like this: "I've never met a Republican that liked reasonable gun control and I've never met a Democrat that didn't like the unreasonable kind."

Law abiding US citizens have the right to firearms, period. The key questions arewhat kind of firearms we the people should have access to (I'm not of the opinion that people should be allowed to strap vulcan cannons to their cars or be walking around the streets with uzis) and how best to keep guns out of the hands of criminals. I don't buy the idea that criminals will always have guns, so we shouldn't try.

Unlike many here on this board, I'm not a Libertarian, at all. I grew up in a Socialist country and I believe that a level of Socialism is a good thing in a democratic country. I don't want to take everyone's guns though. My concern is not that the people will rise up over the government or anything but that people are killing eachother in the streets of our cities and small towns.

There are times I would advocate that an individual person's firearms be taken away: If a person is convicted of a violent or gun-related felony, if they are found to be mentally unstable and are a danger to themselves or others, and the one I would add to the list, if someone is convicted of domestic violence, their guns should be confiscated for a year. It's a tragedy here in America, our families are killing each other from within. Guns and domestic violence do not mix.

no ammo here in minnesota exept for birdshot. we have pallets and pallets of birdshot here. i can not get this ammo here , how about where you are, what state? no 9mm,45,44,270,303,38,double ot buck,357 and others i cannot think of. t.v here says people buying up ammo and cannot keep up. not true. i asked several stores if they had any of these rounds. they all gave me the same answer. no. i live maybe 30 miles away from federal cartridge where i use to work and make bullets. now that is not that far away to ship bullets here to me. back order, well if everyone was buying bullets then why did federal cartridge lay off over 100 or so employees here in minnesota. you would think they need all the help to ship all the bullets out to customers on such a large back order. something is going on. i believe they found a way around the 2nd amendment. sure, you can buy a gun. but not the bullets. what do you believe. europe already stated dont let them do it. you see. but dont believe me check it out for yourself. peace.
