Many Iranians on twitter have said this is real, but does anyone here know Farsi to confirm it?

I've also heard rumours that there's a video of the basij stuffing fake votes for Ahmadinejad into the ballot boxes before they went to the voting stations, but have been unable to find this so far.

It seems the wheels on the regimes bus have fallen off for real.

Workers are striking tomorrow, and basij thugs to protest pretending to be students outside British embassy. Will we see a repeat of the hostage crisis, except British hostages instead of Americans this time?

I have no idea what he is saying. He could be reading a column from NY Times for all I know. This could be complete BS, even the source site doesn't provide a translation. They make a claim but offer nothing but a video we cannot yet verify as even untampered with.

Somewhere on ATS is a list of people who can translate I think. I'm not sure how to find it though. You might drop a note to a Mod to see?

Farsi should be an easy one to find someone.

I would expect plenty of propaganda from both sides though. Lots of blame being passed around I'm sure. Neither side of this cares much for the West.

I had a friend at work listen to it who speaks farsi and pretty much half the time he is thanking the prophets and Quran. The other half the time he is talking about how the Islamic country of Iran is under threat from outsiders.

It doesn't really talk about a dictatorship, but can be interpreted as such because he says the western countries are trying to get rid of the Islamic Republic, so they need to have a tighter grip on their country.

Nothing new here. Pretty much every country says that.

Mr A is a conundrum. He actually connects to the Iranian people as their champion against the Usual Suspects - US, Britain, Saudis, the Evil Zionists.

One has to remember that we see and hear the ipod generation hip liberal students and professionals in North Tehran on the streets.

The other 65 Million Iranians are conservative devout largely rural and unworldly. They see him as a saviour from oppression.

He personally is against the corruption and loss of focus in the Islamic Revolution.

He likely actually won that election but the Russians showed him how to stuff ballots so there'd be no unpleasant surprises.

All that said, he's a totally delusional fruitcake who genuinely feels he's preparing the way for arrival of the 12th Imam who with the reappearance of JC will deliver all mankind from whatever.

The Ayatollah have to slap him down every once in a while. He's a bad front man.

I'm told he had a nervous breakdown last Fall when it was brought to his attention the piggy bank was empty. This guy is what you call fiscally irresponsible. Russia gets a big laugh selling Iran outdated often dysfunctional weaponry and technology. Two possibly 3 serious nuclear containment accidents have already happened that remain unreported.

In a way it's good to have him on the world stage. As a diplomat he can only reduce credibility of the current regime. His clownish thrashing in public only serves to enhance the relative sobriety of his opponents.

He's been accused of being the next Hitler. He only wishes.

Alright my Farsi is a little rusty but first he is very appreciative for having won the election because the President does not have to wear one of those funny hats around their head.

Next he says he wouldn't mind so much having to wear one of those funny hats around his head if they offered more colors besides just white and black.

This is where a lot of people apparently get confused about this video because he states that and I am quoting him now "It is a fraud to pretend you are giving the people much choice of election in funny hats to wear around their heads if they only come in white and black."

Now where it gets more confusing is the word selection and election are almost identical in Farsi and the audio quality is not that good...so he could be saying it's a fraud to pretend there is a real selection in funny hats when they only come in white and black and might have not used the word election at all.

He goes on to tell the council it is really just to early to predict which team will win the American World Series but that as usual this time of year the odds they are giving in Vegas to pick the team are really advantageous.

Now the word fraud comes up again because evidently he bought some tickets to the Michael Jackson Concert in London from a broker in Bahrain but when he went to get his refund or free Michael Jackson Memoriblia gift they told him that tickets he purchased were fakes and frauds.

He seams pretty upset about this and asks the council maybe they should reconsider there decision not to develop nuclear weapons because they could nuke Bahrain for having sold him the fraudelent tickets.

The council though rejects this notion and Ahmadenijad pointedly tells Khoemani well good luck with those Barbara Streisand tickets you bought from the same Broker!

The Supreme Leader seems to get pretty angry at this, and then asks Ahmadenijad if his new Yorkshire Terrier is house broken yet to which he relies no, and if his shoes smell like urine it's not his fault.

They all pretend not to be taking an extra deep sniff of the air in the room at this point but if you watch the video carefully clearly they are.

Finally Ahmadenijad complains bitterly that at last weeks meeting the front desk attendent was not available to stamp his valet parking ticket and that he had to pay 5.00 dollars and if the council will authorize a refund for him.

Once again Fraud comes up when after displaying his valet ticket one of the cleric recognizes it from an all night gentlemans club from around the corner and accuses Ahmadenijad of trying to trick them...he quickly recovers though and says the new York Shire Terrier ate his real Valet Parking Ticket and he didn't realize that until now. They can all be seen trying to discretely sniff the air again and then dismiss the meeting.

Yep sure looks like a smoking gun to me, and since neither the person who posted this sham of a video with an outrageous headline on the Internet couldn't translate it, and the OP who posted it on ATS wouldn't translate it...

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they try saying my translation is a fraud too...

Sadly they can't prove it, just guess it and be manipulated into thinking it...

Skeptically our handy translation comes from someone who just joined the site.

I will try to translate what he says word by word.

He is now in the city of Qom where is a religious city in Iran and where the people study to become "Mullah.” It seems that he is speaking after the man who is sitting next to him on the left. He first thanks the people there for being there and listening to him.

He begins:

”Islamic revolution can not be limited in a specific time and particular location. Our attempts would be indelible if they are for God and due to the basic movements of universe, then God would bliss it too and -God willing- would make all the wishes come true."

He says:" Fighting with depravity and performing justice is fun for sure. But the real fun is when the Principal hope comes true. So we have to try for achieving this principal aspire. I think the revolution is finding its way and a new evolution began. A hard task, hard era has finished and a much harder era has begun, I hope that, this harder era finally leads to the mutation we all are expecting it. A very large energy inside and outside of the country is rapidly releasing now and wants to help the development of Islamic revolution which needs management and conduction. I think the time for achieving what we had wanted and what we have said is being available.

This movement indeed needs a strong theatrical backup and strong executing backup. And I think the best backup is here, means in Qom and among the dear people who are living, breathing and studying for achieving Islamic government and devoted their lives for realization of Islamic government.
