LCROSS has reached periselene at 3:30:33 a.m. PDT. This is where LCROSS is at its closest approach to the moon during lunar swing-by. The spacecraft
is 1,988 miles (3200 km) from the moon.

Live feed started...still though i can only see a black image...and at one moment a could here a Windows 98 error sound lol..
What do you think we shall able to see...also for how long the live feed will be up?

interesting.
One frame a second is kind of lame though.
Audio has quite a bit of ambients, but streaming live.

Well this is certainly an interesting experience. I wonder how close LCROSS will get and how long that will take.

I can't see a thing on either video view except a solid black field. Is this yet another thing that "is not viewable outside of the U.S.?"

Try reloading the page or restarting the browser. I'm outside U.S but everythings working fine.

yes, thank you, just checked that. did a quick Java update. Probably is something local. I guess it can't hurt to try a restart, and perhaps

and some weird blue haze - =...... weird!
btw CRITTERS in formation now 2 right and 2 left look aqua color
nasa up the contrast and pan in critters now unseen
... panned back critters in same position as is blue haze - weird obstruction top right of screen - now gone...
