I've been using this addon for a few weeks and I really like so I thought I'd share it with the ATS community.
You can preview an entire thread without having to open a new tab with an addon called INTERCLUE
download
Typically, I just hover my mouse over interesting thread titles in the "recent posts" and a small window will appear with the entire contents of the
thread. If I am interested I'll scroll through the thread in the little window, if not I just move onto the next topic.
Not sure if it works with IE. I have pop up stopper software and it works seemlessly.
Try it. It has streamlined my ATS browsing.

I never said I blocked ads.
Anyway, rest assured, ATS is an exception in my POP UP stopper.

Dude what's this asblocker thing please ?
Everytime i use firefox for ATS I get that bastard and his make money from home add, behind my ATS window when I shut him off it shuts everything else
off.
I don't get the problem with internet explorer but neither do I get spell check, can't win.
Do you mean to say that, that bastard with his make money from home add is paying ATS to wind me up.
Any info would be greatefully recieved, plese bare in mind I'm not very computer lit.

AdBlock Plus is an extension to Firefox which blocks banner ads on websites. People like this extension because, with banner ads blocked, websites
will load faster.
It doesn't block Pop-up ads, as most modern web browsers have pop-up blocking enabled by default. You can tinker with that setting in your web
browsers internet options/settings.
As for spell check, that's not included with Internet Explorer. I think it's only included with the Firefox and Opera web browsers.

Thank you for this. It seems to work just fine and does exactly what you said it would.
Now lets see if I can get used to it

 :
tom, I have spellcheck up on my toolbar...but now that I look it might be a Googly add-on thingy?? (I'm a computer caveman...still in
Kindergarten...)
Anyway, anyone of you computer-savvy experts know if FireFox will help me with one of those pesky malware "Your Computer Is Infected!" junk viruses
that I've seemed to become infected with, of late? (meaning, today). It keeps shutting down my ATS!
EDIT for Sauron: PS, I kinda like the ads! Guess I'm weird....

First of all, who on Earth still uses IE, it's a crock of crap!!
Secondly, why not just use your middle mouse button/wheel to open up new threads in a new tab.
For Firefox add-ons, i have:
British-English dictionary
Cooliris - awesome software
Speed Dial - a fantastic tool to save web sites you like.
Also, i highly recommend people download Zone Alarm Firewall, it's great
software that blocks those pesky virus'.

if you use zone
alarm you welcome every hacker on the block in your pc, lol its the only 1 you should not use, after kapersky antivirus s/w
lol tell me this how many hacker attacks have u had, how many times has your pc slowed down at least 45% how many times have you not gained acces to
your internet, and finally that s/w is a crook you should never need to make one learn what s/w are allowed to enter the net, lol i would say Zonelab
is part of the NWO, and it does report back to zonelab when you use the net

Some great points, how safe are you really using Windows OS?
I bought a new laptop with vista and i turned off all startup programs and in idle mode with no programs running, it was consuming ~35% of RAM and it
has 3GB of RAM
My desktop pc is win XP and in answer to your questions, i have never been attacked (touch wood), i only get intermittent disconnects for a second
here and there (crappy Orange ISP) and ZA i set to intermediate so i don't click it every site. Also AVG is great to show safe sites.
I read all comments for torrents i download and view porn from 'safe' sites
Here is a picture of my virus SW and i use AXCrypt to password all my log-in files.

It's a malicious ad on ATS that was doing it. As far as I know, ads have been disabled on the site until it is tracked down and fixed.

Spybot, AdAware, and Malwarebytes only scan if I recall correctly, they dont actually guard against incoming malware. Microsoft actually have a great
new malware guard and scanner called Windows Defender, it doesnt take up any memory or resources at all, very light, and it doesnt conflict with any
AV. CCleaner and Defraggler are top notch BTW!
But ZoneAlarm firewall? Is that really necessary? I mean I used to have it as well and I even tried the latest version but firewalls just come off as
too much if you ask me, especially ZoneAlarm. Theres one called Outpost firewall, that one was the best, but generally most of these are just resource
hogs and are pretty annoying. Google "Shields Up"and try the test with or without the firewall, my results came up perfect stealth without any
firewall. Give it a try!
