Congressman proposes enclosing Capitol gallery in Plexiglass

In a little-noticed proposed amendment to a bill last week, Rep. Dan Burton (R-IN) sought a study to examine the feasibility of enclosing the Capitol gallery chamber with a protective shield.

“What this bill does is it would authorize a study to look at enclosing the chamber, the gallery chamber, with Plexiglas so that somebody can’t throw a bomb down on the floor and kill a lot of us,” Burton told the Rules Committee Thursday.

Aww, now why would someone EVER think of doing such a thing for you to be so paranoid?

I couldn't even imagine any of the 9/11 truthers, Ron Paul supporters, or average American protesters- who you seek to classify and preemptively arrest as terrorists- EVER wanting to do such a horrible thing! :shk:

It just boggles the mind that you would think to waste even more taxpayer money on another one of your futile and ridiculous studies figuring out more ways to protect yourselves from the results of your own stupidity and greed.
