Sen. John McCain says his opponent in last year's presidential campaign, Barack Obama, has "done well" in his first five months in the White House.

Okay .. I'm going to say it ... he's either senile or he's a sell out.

So breaking campaign promises, selling out America, going on an unending 'apology tour' overseas, spending us into oblivion, appointing socialist liars to all sorts of important posts, moving the census to the White House in an unbelievable power grab (that went unchallenged), etc etc .... all this means Obama has 'done well' according to John McCain.

It's hard for me to believe that an American hero of this magnitude, who loved his country more than himself, would say such bunk.

John McCain of 2009 is NOT the John McCain of 2000.

:shk:

not to sound pessimestic here, but i hope this has not surprised you in the least, as pretty much most of these elected officials are sell outs.

like jesse ventura stated' politicians are like the world wrestling federation. at work, they all act like they are arch enemies, but behind closed doors, everyone's great friends!

McCain should just get it over with and switch party's. He like Spector has been a closet Democrat for years.

I wonder how much John Mccain earned from TPTB with making that statement ?!

This just goes to prove what I've said this from day one. They're ALL CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) members. Brought to you by our leading US Bilderberger....David Rockefeller !

If you recall during the last election how Ron Paul , even with all of his support was just ostracized and promptly removed from the spotlight.

That's why I can't waste too much time or energy on politics at ATS.
Its exactly as Jesse Ventura says....in that it's just like the WWF.

As George Carlin had said, the politicians are only there to make you BELIEVE that you have freedom.....well , you don't !

John McCain is a big disappointment lately. He is not the same man he was 10 years ago.

It started showing up during the campaign, now he has gone full-fledged overboard.

I believe it is senility.

John McCain and BHO are almost exactly the same. They would have taken the country to the same place on perhaps a very slightly different path. Of course McCain thinks that Obama is doing swell. It's probably exactly what he would have done had he been elected. Until we get all of the Dems and Repubs out of office, we will continue down the same path of stupidity.

I think this is just a political move.

What better way to get those who voted for him to rethink their vote then to say "hey, I would have done the same thing"? It would almost be the same strategy Obama used when he described McCain as more of the same.

If he starts to get that grain of doubt in their heads now, then it could be useful for the next Presidential election.

If it works, then it could be a smart move.

Yeah, I hate to break it to you but the two party sytem is a farce.

What better way to keep people under the thumb of TPTB than to give them the illusion of choice?

It's time to wake up and understand that partisanship is designed to distract you from the simple fact that the US is not a democracy! You have no vote when it comes to who's really running things.

They certainly are now, aren't they? I'm in shock. I knew there wasn't much difference to these guys but for McCain to go out of his way to give unwarrented support to Obama is still shocking to me.

Hey John McCain .... where are you? Where's the guy who gave 7 years of his life in a POW camp? Where's the guy who believed in honor and believed in his country soooooo much that he put it before his own life?

It's a sad day in America. A true patriot is gone.

Third option.... you have spouted the same rhetoric for so long that you are locked into your narrow anti-obama world view...unable to see anything on the subject objectively?

So much so that you would rather see your hero as senile or corrupt rather than accept he might not have the same view as you?
