Iran starts air force exercise over Gulf

TEHRAN, June 22 (UPI) -- The Iranian air force began military operations Monday in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman in a three-day exercise meant to display low-altitude abilities.

The operation will employ the domestically produced Saegheh fighter and the Russian-made Sukhoi-24 jet in tactical operations that will test new ammunition and hone defensive capabilities.

Iranian air force officials said the fighters will conduct tests in the 370- and 1,800-mile range over the three-day period

Iran destablising gradually piece by piece, worker strikers expected tomorrow almost countrywide, possible oil workers striking, the end of the regime on the horizon. Are they going out with a bang or maybe a last ditch attempt to win their people over.

Israel also military exercising recently, and with American presence in the gulf we don't want to see accidental clashes in this fragile period when the Iranian people need to be the ones to decide their country's future.
