A Facebook Warning

Something happened to me the other day that scared me deeply,
I was on a site and at the top was a banner with MY picture and one of my friends and it said something about making your profile better to attract them or some garbage, and at that point I knew facebook was selling my information and such to others!

If I ever meet their CEOs who changed the terms of service without letting me know I am going to slap them harshly. I see 'high' privacy does not have the same meaning to them as me. Well neither does the term 'slap'

Yes, this is one of my updates from Project MotherShip .........

"Update 10: "If I was Evil" ... Recently a guy sent me hate and vulgarities to one of my email accounts. And because I'm a very experienced internet hackerish geek, I decided to do an advanced AUYVN intelligence agency background check on the guy. I found a lot of information about him on the internet and at Library archives. I know his full name and middle name, his wifes full name, his family and all their old street addresses and new street addresses, photos, plus a ton of other information.
And "IF I WAS EVIL" and because I am a professional internet website designer and ex-internet-marketing-specialist ... I could setup many blogs, www sites, forums, social networks, and homepages all in his name pretending to be him with his photos and all with a good mixture of Anti-Some-Notorious-American-Gang. And then I could go around the internet everyday attacking those Gangs pretending to be 'you know who'. Now, this person I have investigated does like guns! So he would either be razor bladed to death by a gang member, or he would shoot a gang member dead and end up in jail for eternity. So this is a lesson for you all to be careful online! Also the other message is ... Amazing God-Like Power Comes With Responsibility!"

all of this is scary and very valid but isnt this true for all social websites, maybe even ....dare i say...ATS?

Yep.....the social networking 'ploy' is for the (shadow) government to know your habits, routines, friends, family, etc..

I joined Facebook a few months ago, mostly to connect and unite with Highschool alumini and military pals (yes, I'm a black female that's a former Marine ) and Iinstanlty felt the creepiness of it: folks constantly posting their every moves and thought.

It is straight up Big Brother

Thanks for the information - It's scary to know what networking sites can do. I've just deleted all the photos off my Facebook account, have 'deactivated' my account - BUT they still allow me to log on if I change my mind! Is there a way to indefinetly close a Facebook account?

I really don't want to sound like a nut here, but seriously people, do NOT get a facebook account if you do not already have one. there's no way out.

Its a shame that they take advantage of people like this, when most people just want to stay in touch with friends and family.

And about five weeks ago I setup my computer at a friends house.
I was posting to the Google group Alt Alien Research,
and shortly after we both saw an orange and black twisting oval shaped energy just above his sofa.

As for 'Big Brother' ... known as 'Mother' these days ...
The Internet works both ways. They watch us, we watch them. And we are bigger and many. Many races of Extraterrestrials are watching too. Google ... "Decide Whether We Should Show Up".
