Thanks for the reminder, I'm in Australia and it's celebrated on a different day here, but my dad's in the US - I'll call him tomorrow (or today US time)...

Also, I became a father 8 weeks ago - so it's my first official Father's Day. It's a happy day indeed.

YAY ME! it's my first one. My little boy was born on october 16th this year!

It;'s one of the greatest things ive ever been able to call myself! I love my little guy with all my heart!!!

my father has been dead for 3 years, but since i'm here on ATS, what an appropriate place to wish him a happy fathers day. and for my 22 year old son, i wouldn't mind getting a phone call from the little fart face. the nice thing i get to watch the US OPEN in peace... now only if the rain would stop, and tiger woods could put a few good holes together to make it interesting for the rest of the field.

I just had a good talk with my Dad on msn, i called him earlier.

I am in his shadow of greatness. Hoping one day mine will fill the same space for my little boy as my fathers does now for me.

I told him I could only hope to be half the father he is. And if i achieve this I would still be great. I love him dearly and am where i am today because of him and how much he cares for us.

Great moments everyone thanks for sharing. Makes one feel amazing to be a father!.

I would like to wish a Happy Fathers Day to all. To the fathers that are with they’re loved ones right now, to the Mom’s that have been a Mother and Father, to the sons that are missing they're Dad this day due to death, to the fathers that are waiting for the phone to ring or a knock on they’re door that they know will never come.
