I'm not going to acknowledge the fact that someone feels they know me better than myself, and I never shall. Which is why I will give no mind to the reply made to my post.

People are ignorant. If anything were to come in their way of their "things" and their "money" they will have none of it. For those of us having our secure jobs, voting like good little boys and girls, and having enough money to afford our taxes and gas on a weekly basis, I'm sure that it would seem like such a bad deal. Afterall, as long as you are "good" and follow orders, there is no reason to go after you, right?

Too bad you are now part of the minority. It is those of us that truly adore our rights that will actually fight for them.

I bring to the table, the Declaration of Independence 2009, written by a fellow ATS member projectvxn. I bring this to the table because I feel that it can describe exactly what rights and injustices have been served against us, much better than I can explain myself.

Declaration of Independence 2009

Each thing listed in that document is fact - pure fact that our government has gone against us, and each can be backed up sufficiently if need be. However, while only those things remain enough to instill a "Revolution" things continue to get worse and our blind to it.

The similarities that America is turning to comparied to early NAZI Germany are uncanny. People are so disallusioned by the fact that is drilled into our heads since childhood "America is unbreakable" "America is the land of the free" "America can never fall" ... but in reality we are just another country. We are just another country like everyone else, and just like every other country, we will fall.

Democracy has been proven that it is impossible to maintain forever. It has never been done. Thanks to the corruption involved, there needs to be a refreshment of liberty, and if there is not - well it is destined to fall to Fascism. Are we fascist or socialist just yet? No. But to those of us who pay attention and aren't blinded by our material lives, we see the transitions and we see that NOTHING is being done to stop them.

The democratic system of voting is broken, it no longer serves its purpose. Protests are ignored and passed by as if they didn't exist. Petitions are burnt with the rest of the Sunday mail. Representatives now only represent themselves and not their people. And lastly, the Constitution has become toilet paper to our government, as is overridden by even the pettiest of laws.

As I said above, it will take the lives of many people who aren't willing to give it up in order for others to see why we fight. It won't be us taking their lives, it would be your precious government.

And just to clear something up:

rev-o-lu-tion-ar-y

–adjective 1. of, pertaining to, characterized by, or of the nature of a revolution, or a sudden, complete, or marked change: a revolutionary junta.
2. radically new or innovative; outside or beyond established procedure, principles, etc.: a revolutionary discovery.
3. (initial capital letter) of or pertaining to the American Revolution or to the period contemporaneous with it in U.S. history: Revolutionary heroes; Revolutionary weapons.
4. revolving.

–noun 5. a revolutionist.

I AM a revolutionary and so is anyone else who stands up for change.

Where were you big time patriots 4 years ago, 8 years ago. When an election was decided by supreme court and not by the people. Where were you? no where to be found. Silent and bowing. Where were you when the Patriot Act was passed? When our government allowed itself to intercept our calls and invade our privacy? No where to be found. Where were you when our constitutional rights were actually being threatened. You sat and ate up everything they fed you.
After 9-11 you were so scared that you just gave away your power and let the powers just walk all over you. So when actual rights are being taken you smile and ask for more but when they raise taxes to try to fix a situation caused by the previous administrations lack of paying attention to real criminals who were robbing the public. You know why they didn't keep an eye on it because, it would somehow benefit them.

So where were you when the money lenders and politicians and lobbyist were spending your future, my future on bS nonsense, more houses than one person could live in thoroughly in his entire life. Where were you? Blind as usual. Hypocritical as usual. The one man who has enough balls to actually take on the task of a failing economy, 2 maybe 3 wars, unrest around the world, and a particular dislike for the country due to the past couple of years of bad government. It took 8 years to make the mess, its going to take more to pull out of it. And considering that now our economy as drags the rest of the world with us doesn't make it any better. Where the hell were you when all of this was happening? Where were our patriots then? The real Patriots were in the streets getting bashed by your fox news and all your propaganda. Your revolution is a bogus one.

I'm so tired of this argument .. "where were you 4 years ago with Bush...." blah blah blah..

I for one was doing the same thing I am doing today.. protesting the violation of the Constitution of my country. I might add, it was probably right along side many of the voices that are asking "where were you 4 years ago with Bush.."

Where many of these people fail.. They wanted to scream 'unconstitutional' for 8 years because it was convenient to their beliefs.. now that they have someone in line with their beliefs, but I still might add.. is still doing some very 'unconstitutional' things.. it's ok. A slight double standard for sure. Reality is.. a lot of people throw the Constitution around to fit what they want it to.

The Constitution is clear.. BOTH parties have failed.

I'm dead if I don't do anything, aren't I? The way things are going there seems to be no way around it. Might as well die trying to fix the problem than to sit around and let it happen.

Where's that Jefferson quote when I need it? "All it takes for evil to win is for good men to do nothing". Right, wasn't that Jefferson? Whoever it was, they had the right idea. Sad thing is, I am just one guy sitting in my room. I have no one to rebel with so my death would be in vain right now. I need a revolution to join, it hasn't started yet. Until then, I'll just wait. I can't start it, no one listens to me.

So, whatever happens, happens. If I die trying, then at least I wasn't sitting on my ass when the time came. Although I do wonder if the time has come and passed.

Well lets look at the Black Revolution. It was peaceful and they were victims of terrible terrors by racist losers. Now this jaded them into a reactionary state and confusion in tandem with being further destroyed by rap and drugs. I like some rap. But I control myself and thoughts knowing there lifestyle is not mine.

Point is that we have been financialy and legaly highjacked by thief liars who use absolute lies and brainwashed unamericans who allow this treasonous oppression of gays, druggies and Ron Paul voters. And even this mentality divides further. the human psyche. The divisions of wheat and chaf are merely references to the division of leaders and the people who actually work in life. Not just talk smack and then do some stupid attempts at a comedy routine.

Thats insulting.

America, may not raise the bar on our standard of human perfection. But it is virtually perfect compared to the civilizations of our past & many other current countries that exist today.. we're not beyond anything we can't solve with words and reasonable action.

Why do you want a US revolution? It sound so selfish to me. Do you have nothing better to do? How are you oppressed? How have you been wronged? I doubt any of you have been in real life, you just live inside internet rumors and documentaries.

Many other countries are falling apart, and they need/deserve a revolution. America is pretty perfect, considering how imperfect humans all are. Let's stop moving backwards, people. Let's move onward. We all choose to live here. If not then we'd move and stop caring. I am not American, I moved here from a different country, but I like it here because I can make what I want out of this country. I can be anything, so long as I walk outside.

To speak of a revolution is not just speaking of sacrificing your own lives, it's to speak of sacrificing the innocents that never wanted to get involved.

I think all this revolutionary talk is a product of your own boredom. We've had some pretty chaotic civilizations in the past. You may call me one of the "sheeple" or whatever.. but I think we should be grateful for what we have now. We have to take realistic, modern approaches to changing the world we live in. Not going back to 1775.

Be realistic, be reasonable. always.

Unfortunately, most people who say they will fight usually stay inside their homes while a small minority of people actaully get off their duffs and duke it out with the powers that be. That is especially true in a country like the US, where we have grown soft and docile. And also because staging a revolution would means that they'd actually have to get up and do something. Most people WILL NOT DO THAT until they are forced to by circumstances beyond their control. Most people are sheep who will just stand about "grazing" while others carry the fight to the enemy.

I think alot of the anti-revolutionaries here are missing the point. Its not that we are so terribly oppressed now. The problem is that many of these people can see where our path is leading, and that is towards the oppression that we deny now. Our rights are being more restricted each year. To simply wait until we are IN that situation that you seem to think would require revolution, well that would put us in a situation where revolution may be necessary, but the tools to do it would no longer be available. Indeed, those tools are quickly being stolen right now, and it seems to be in preparation for further restrictions on our freedoms...take the claws first, then take the food away.

I don't know. We're definitely in the top 3 of the most aggressive countries in the world. Maybe even the most aggressive. Part of the country I guess is apathetic, I'm sure a good majority of that is the youth. But I do agree. It's easy to say something on the computer I guess just to feel a sense of pride or make you feel like you're doing something important in life. Most revolutionaries are probably 90% disgruntled republicans right now, mad about Obama being elected. Even then the people who want a revolution are huge huge huge minorities.

pexx421- I've asked for an explanation on what is going to happen and why there will need to be another revolution in this country but no one has given me a straight answer. All i've seen is speculation and people's gut's speaking rather than some actual proof of greater change in this country and better yet what is the reason for a revolution? You don't agree with the government? You people think your opinion counts as x10 of the average America. I don't know, i'm also speculating because none of you have actually told me anything useful.

There's a north korean ship headed for Hawaii and we're talking about a war from within. it's ridiculous to me.

Alright, here's some questions for the visionaries at the Keyboard Commando Squad:

What exactly are you gonna do once you win your glorious (though, in reality, doomed to failure) coup and take the country back? Are you just gonna start holding elections to fill all the void positions left by the politicians you murdered? Will you institute a new form of government that you prefer to America's current system? And how do you plan to keep out the corrupting influences that made America's military-industrial complex the way it is today?

I think you will not find what you consider "proof" because there is so much disinformation. I can only tell you what i see. I see the destruction of the family unit. I see people sitting in their homes watching tv and playing video games instead of communicating. I see rights being stolen while people just sit by and let it happen. I work in hospitals, and i can tell you i see people confused and alone, on tons of drugs and psyche meds trying to be sane in a world that no longer makes sense. The world we are told we live in is nothing like the world we experience, people have a sense that something is wrong, but no one can figure what it is. There is a complete lack of any true spirituality in our land, and no form of meditation or introspection that exists in other cultures which is the only true way to develop wisdom from our experiences. Greed and acquisition are held as the highest of virtues and a mans worth is measured by his pocket book, his house and his car. Our children aspire to be hard, cold, and ruthless, and compassion and wisdom are left by the wayside. Respect, for ourselves, for our neighbors, for humans animals and environment are rapidly disappearing from our mindset.

Why revolution? Because perhaps this is all by design.

This is what i'm trying to generally get across is that it really isn't a time for a great division between Americans. In the dark times why would we fight against eachother then talk honestly to one another and come to some general agreement. It shouldn't be "let me get what i want or so help me god i will not support you" We have to work to find the best possible way to fix OUR situation. Not by revolution but by us talking like we are now. There will never be a need for irrational violence when we really should be intelligent enough to talk to each other.

A revolution that starts violent never succeeds. This has been proven many times in the past. You ask as if the term is new, like people haven't been fighting for the revolution for so long and all of a sudden we just want bloodshed, we just want to be agressive and take whatever we want?

You couldn't be more wrong.

We have fought. We have protested. We have stood against tyranny and where does it get us.

You refuse to pay your taxes due to a corrupt IRS? You get thrown in prison. You write your senators to vote against a bill in congress? They vote for it. You protest peacefully in public? You get deemed a "domestic terrorist".

This isn't all pipedreams and fantasies of a would-be "revolutionary" this is reality. The is what is happening. Some people see the Patriot Act as the window towards the destruction of the Constitution, however, it began way before that. It is only now, as things are occuring more quickly than ever before, and the rights are visibly disappearing to the normal eye, that more and more people are waking up and making a revolution possible.

This revolution is not new. It has been being fought by our fathers and our grandfathers. This freedom that our people have fought for generations to protect is dismissed as a passing memory as our veterans our declared "domestic terrorists" and unconstitutional laws are forced on us in the name of safety.

I can't speak for everyone but if we ousted the government what would happen. Would we return to the way things are now and let corruption take over once again? Nay - we would return to the plans that our forefathers set down for us and the warning they gave us then - the warning that have been so willfully disregarded and in turn have created EXACTLY what they foretold it would become.

This is no long the land of the free - this is the land of the corrupt, the land of greed, and the land of material. The more material you have, the better you are. The less material you start with, the more likely you will be nothing. There is no American dream save a select few who decide to sell their souls for it. The American Dream has become the American Nightmare.

You can argue that America might still be special and more free than most and I won't deny it. However, we are not as free as we should be, and we are quickly becoming more like the countries we have faught in the past to prevent such a change from happening. We our so involved in the affairs of the rest of the world that have no warrant on us, that we refuse to see ourselves from the outside as what we have truly become.

It is no question as to why other counties hate us so. It isn't because we have better lives, it isn't because we have more, it is because of what we have become. Sheep. Americans are now synonomous with sheep. Following the orders everyday as long as they get their feed at the end.

We don't WANT armed revolution. Nobody wants a war besides those that make money from it. However, when the time comes that the American government wants to take our guns then what? Do we hand them over... fine.

Years down the road when they decide to ration all of our food supplies, do we let them... fine.

When the time comes that they choose to take our land without just compensation, when they decide to force vaccinations and drugs onto us to keep us in line... fine.

Finally when the time comes when they tell us what jobs we will be doing, how many children we are allowed to have, what pleasures we are allowed to enjoy... will we let them?

We will have no choice. By that time, it will be too late. Revolution will no longer be necessary because it will be impossible. Even then the anti-revolutionaries might be thinking that then is the time to act and perhaps you were wrong... perhaps we shouldn't have waited until we were defenseless, until we had the means.

Maybe then... just maybe... we could have saved ourselves before everything went to hell.

Look at history. Look how history repeats itself. We are not titans. We are not immortal. Neither is America.

But, yet, according to most of these alleged revolutionaries, Capitalism, the major contributor to all that, should be embraced.

Yep, lots of sheeple around here brainwashed into thinking they can be a wolfs too, just if they try hard enough...

Brainwashing people into thinking that democracy and freedom is not possible without Capitalism (and that Constitution does not support any other form of economical system) is the main reason that Capitalism in it's current form is still present in USA, lol.

I couldn't agree more. I am no fan of Capitalism because it was once said "Capitalism corrupt all". However, I do belief it is the best choice we have. Capitalism, unchecked is what we have. A dangerous thing that has taken over government and the people's minds.

Strategic capitalism is what we need, one with less restrictions yet more watchful overseers.
