Did Freemasons use the eye with the pyramid back in 1776? or just the eye

What is the history of the eye with the pyramid? who first used it ? Was it a satanic symbol

i read it a lot of about it , most of it turns out to be lies or misunderstanding

here is an example, People say there is pentagram in the street layout in Washington DC

here is the truth. The pentagram was not a satanic symbol back in 1700's, the church of Satan used it as a satanic symbol in 1960-80s, later on the Christian church officially classified as a satanic symbol

The combination of eye & pyramid probably did not exist (at least not how we know it today) until the Great Seal was designed for the US government. While it touches on symbolic elements used previously, no organization of any significance used that combination prior to the US government. People who try to read in Illuminati connections have no basis in fact.

As to the street layout of DC, you can really make it say anything you want to with a little effort & creativity...

That is not an eye with a pyrmaid, that is the Eye of Providence-an eye within a triangle. The triangle represents the divinity of God, Christ and the Holy Spirit. It is completely different from what is on the reverse of the One Dollar Bill.

One represents the ever-watchful Eye of God and the other that the task at hand (the building of the United States) will always remain uncompleted.

Also, there is no pentagram in the street layout. If someone wanted to place a pentagram then why would they purposely make it uneven and also omit several sides?

I alwyas liked that exmaple, as well as Emsed's dinosaur.

It's a matter of personal pride, no doubt, but I've always enjoyed my castle and the sailboat.

Just watching an old Robert Anton Wilson lecture, and found a quote relevant to the map stuff...

Any group of churches or prehistoric megaliths can be connected into an interesting geometrical pattern if you use a small enough map and a thick enough pencil.

The eye is a common used symbol for God, it specifically symbolizes Gods omnipresence. The unfinished pyramid represents that the country is still growing and is not complete.

The supposed pentagram doesn't even exist as not all the streets actually connect.
