As the world crumbles quicker
And our minds become sicker
All these thoughts without answers
Slowly get thicker

As we fight for a reason
All we fight just to see
All this war that is waging
Is war without need

As we march to the drums
Of the war that we see
The last war that remains
Is the war within me

To all of you crying
And all of you dying
This life that we carry
Is all worth for fighting

The wars that we fight
And the wars that we lose
This battle in motion
Is a war that we choose

So at the last moment
I hear myself singing
A song for the hopeless
For hope for those needing

The battle I fight
Is a battle with you
Let friendship now bind us
To conquer a'new

This last breath I leave
With my heart slowing pace
May you stand here beside me
Were both in this race
