My insight on this :
Life Force is simply a form of energy , one which does not have any kind of inclinations and is inherent in every living being. It is simply there to
be used. Psionics call it "Psi" , I am not sure if they are the same though , but it is very likely. You could say it is a "power" , and it cannot
be fully controlled.
Soul would be related to our deeper mind , one we do not have control over. It is also isolated from the influence our mortal mind can receive.
Mortal Mind is simply the mind that is constantly under effect of the physical world , it can be corrupted , perverted and deceived. It functions
based on tons of assumptions and is constantly influenced by the external world.

I found my father dead at the bottom of the stairs.It was terrible.I loved him dearly.I wish I could have saved him from the death.He had been
drinking and fallen of the stairs.
When I came in i knew right away as soon as i saw his blue hand and cold to the touch.
i could never forget that.
He lives.But only in my memories.
