Something I have come to understand is not to insult anonymous. Not through personal mistake but by watching the exploits of others. Why, even I dialed a phone number on a screen once just to see if it was the right number. Guess that makes me a member too. Anonymous is everyone even you whether you know it or not, whether you like it or not. I have had several friends smarter in the field of computers than I. I have seen them do Amazing things and I have had my phone calls from foreign nations. Its a strange thing. Such is the net.

Still I wait to see the DoD attempt to touch that site. ...On the other hand I would bet that the US intelligence agencies would be too chicken to try.

Any group of humans can be divided and turned against itself. It's a simple matter of finding one little thing that nobody agrees on and then blowing it all out of proportion.

You don't have to know who they are. You just have to know what they want.

heh, and this is precisely why there are multiple chans, when a large enough group of people disagree they simply move out, start a new home, and drop the ban hammer on anyone trying to cause trouble.

Hell, there seems to be a chan war almost every month.

Just look at how all the pedos were kicked out and sent to their own chan.

Yup!!!!

And they are, exactly like you said lol

Its just that their agenda generally consists of revenge, "epic lulz" or a combination of both wherein epic lulz result from sweet cold revenge.

I don't think you understand how many times Anon has gone to war and how many high profile targets have fallen. Let's just say Fox News doesn't order pizza anymore

These kind of sites are set up by the CIA, Mossad and MI5 - sheesh - how much more obvious does it have to be?

Do they need to put the CIA logo on the top of the page before people will understand what this is about?

Actually, they're not.

We don't mean an anonymous group has set up the site.
We mean that the group Anonymous has set up the site.

Why not the NSA? They are a bunch of geeks with government funding so god knows what they do on the internet.
The lulz will easily destroy Iran and North Korea...none can stop the trollage.

You know, you might be on to something. If we can teach people in countries like this to have a friggin sense of humor then the religious fundamentalists will totally lose all their powers!

I understood perfectly - your suggestion is that a group of bored teenagers are going to assist in over throwing a countries government.

No intelligence agency is involved - the CIA have no reason to be involved, they never over threw Iran in 1953, they might like to help the Iranians over throw their govt - but they never thought of this idea, or they don't have the technical knowledge or resources to pit themselves against an entire nations intelligence networks - but some group of teenagers can do it.

Your argument is perfectly understood.

I'm sure Anon will be the centre of another kiddy porn scam before long after this. Even if its not their own doing this time.

Now they just need to kick out all the Hebo's and the site might actually be worth considering lending its patrons a measure of respectability.

Regardless of the measure of success this move has against TPTB is not relevant. The fact that this is possible and able to happen first point, is what is amazing.

Obviously outside of the normal depiction of other nations and people by our mainstream media and government-army-wallstreet officials. There is definitly more people like us who are trying to fight for freedom of speech and living conditions.

Many of us have been saying it for years and now perhaps its coming down to the line. The internet may be the key to changing the world or atleast bring everybody up to a certain level of awareness where we can actually start to see a change in the way we all live our lives.

It has always been a dictatorship of sorts. The direction of humanity's path has been directed by certain individuals and groups of few largely since the begining of time. The masses mostly uneducated and able to change their way of life even less.

Here we finally have a key a tool. One which anyone can use. Also one theyve been trying to control and shut down for years. We'll see what happens though. at this point its hard to say.

I know this has been said a thousand times already in this thread, but I am immensely proud that Anon has taken up this cause and has helped fellow freedom fighters that are entire time zones away. This website will hopefully allow Iranians on the ground to coordinate somewhat better, seeing as how ( last I checked ) Twitter and Facebook were spotty at best.

I firmly believe that Anonymous and other Net groups like them signal a widespread change in how some Americans think. They see the power of a group that can still have many heads and characteristics, unlike the bland, gray group that has been pushed on us for so many years. Using fire against fire, eh?

Strength and Insight to our Iranian brothers and sisters! The Cradle of Life is always so awesome!

I have a feeling that internet (the real internet) will go underground and will share everything, from knowledge to music to programs totally everything and because of all the hacker groups we will stay relativly safe.

this is how the internet pretty much was in the late 80s and early 90s. and bbs' were pretty like that, bbs' where kinda the precursor the internet, dial in bulletin board systems. This was before it was mainstream.

Anonymous is more than bored teens.

In time as anonymous ages and assumes the corridors of power, nothing will ever be the same, some of Anon... is all ready there.

Anonymous has Anonymous friends in Anonymous places

Nothing can stop anonymous
