Sure it's damned if you do and damned if you don't when the US President "meddles".
Well I am waiting for him to meddle here by providing his much ballyhoed "change" to a populace that is increasingly unemployed, increasingly broke,
increasingly unrepresented in Washginton and is increasingly lied too"
From where I sit Iran's democracy and Iran's people seem to be doing better and appreciate the process better than America's and the American
citizen.
Are you truly inclined to think that people in Iran are going to behave different based on what the President of the United States says publicly?
Hey I have an idea, let's make everything that ever happens in the world all about America and our ego that now seems to be several sizes larger than
our wallets and pocketbooks and our own moral actions.
What do you suggest Obama help waterboard the Ayatollahs into relinquishing power, because at the end of the day that's who is in power in Iran and
holds the power in Iran in a process that works more or less the same way the Catholics decide on a Pope. The upper echelons of the priestly class
decide not the laity.
This is just another distraction from a far more pressing domestic agenda, keep the moral platitudes and ego maniacal wishes and just show me the
money, and show the rest of America some at the same time, and work on getting the people of this nation some living wage jobs and a functional
representative republic. I double dog dare you Barack Hussein Obama!
