......crazy forum back slapping and stars and the same old posters getting worked up and ranting about how Obama is not an American citizen, the
anti-christ etc. etc.
George Bush gave a speech and you are all salivating..logic out the window.
Groupthink is a type of thought exhibited by group members who try to minimize conflict and reach consensus without critically
testing, analyzing, and evaluating ideas. Individual creativity, uniqueness, and independent thinking are lost in the pursuit of group
cohesiveness, as are the advantages of reasonable balance in choice and thought that might normally be obtained by making decisions as a group.
During groupthink, members of the group avoid promoting viewpoints outside the comfort zone of consensus thinking. A variety of motives for
this may exist such as a desire to avoid being seen as foolish, or a desire to avoid embarrassing or angering other members of the group.
Groupthink may cause groups to make hasty, irrational decisions, where individual doubts are set aside, for fear of upsetting the group’s
balance. The term is frequently used pejoratively, with hindsight

Flyers I wish I could give you a hundred stars for that comeback because not only is it spot on correct, it underscores the fact (a reminder really)
that people like maybereal don't have business throwing stones when it comes to the mess their elected officials are making.

I find it absolutely hysterical (and ironic) that Obama is starting to make GW look........(dare I say it...).....better? ROTFL~ This is how bad it's
gotten. What a sad, sad, sad state of affairs!
Well at least "W" was an American, lol
Even better
I found a place where you can purchase bumper stickers that say:
Don't blame me, I voted for the American
BTW, the "o" in the word "voted" is Obama's campaign symbol.
Which one is the American? The one born in Kenya or the one borm in Panama?
Seriously though, the country is in trouble it is time to stop playing the blame game and start playing the "lets fix the country" game.
At this point it does not matter to me who is more at fault what matters to me is that we fix the problem. Let's do that. Could we please?

Is that what the topic is? Let me go check. Back in a minute.

Nope, I read the sourced material and this thread isn't about "an ex-president slamming a current president". It's about what Dubya said about
Obama. No reference to any other ex-presidents. You kinda threw me off with the off topic reference to Carter and Clinton. But hey!!! Thanks for
making my point for me.

George Bush had better start speaking out in his own defence or he will be hung as a scape goat for all the sins both parties and the elite families
have committed the last twenty years not just in America but around the world. This might be what the people who have not benefited by George Bushes
policies want ,but it won't it won't put a stop to crime causing poverty of America.

In other circumstances, I'd say Bush should simply shut his trap before someone starts an investigation into his 8 years in office, but in this
case...
I keep getting jinxed. During the Clinton years, I said that there could not be a worse president than Clinton, than anything else had to be an
improvement. Then we got Dubya.
So during Dubya's years, I thought that there was no way it could get worse, just ride his term out and wait for something better. Then Obummer came
along.
Yeah. Kommerade Obama is heading this country for socialist ruin. So in this case, i won't tell Dubya to STFU.

Sos...and Flyers for that matter...Portraying me as some sort of "kool-aide drinker" is tired rhetoric and is contradicted by my posts.
I have been publically critical of Obama as a candidate and President and posted the same on ATS. In the end he has made me proud more often than he
has dissapointed me.
I don't declare him to be either a Savior or the Anti-Christ.
Have you ever offered him praise? Or just railed on for the praise of the Anti-Obama crowd about he must have been born in Kenya or how he is a secret
Muslim?
Groupthink. I know it doesn't feel good to think about. But A brief and honest look in the mirror and your better self will tell you it is accurate.

Why exactly couldn't Bush have started saying intelligent things, like, when he was actually, you know, president?

Its funny.
The Republicans claim the Obama supporters act like sheep - and yet look at the flock that gathered here
Seriously though, I'm glad this cheered some folks up in the midst of their 8 years of despair before Clinton gets elected
(Sorry guys, I couldn't resist )
Right, I'm off to write to my MP about their expenses....
