I'm more concerned at how easy it is to manipulate people, this story/game was a perfect example of it, eventhough it was mentioned that is was a game, people still want to believe it is not true and make themselfs paranoid.

That is the problem with sites like ATS, you can get carried away very easily, and still fall in the trap even when you did not believe it was real to start with. I fell in some of the traps to on other occasions here, sometimes it's very hard to remove the bs from the truth. And sometimes it is the thruth mixxed with bs.

You don't understand. Had there not been any hidden codes or secret websites, then yes, it would have remained fiction. But when they hide clues in it and put countdown timers on secret websites it becomes real.

But it is how you interpret that line. It can also mean "This is just a test". It is what you want to make of it. Thats how easy it is with a few words.

Hmm, you got some catching up to do. Read back a..oh lets say a good 10 pages back? The guy who created this even came out to us and told us it wasn't real! And oh hey, look at the time...wasn't the first attack supposed to be now? (serious question, forgot the time they said)

Correction, the people make it real in their minds. We could go on all night about this though so I'll just say I see where you're coming from to avoid it!

I've been following this thread since about page 50; I'm completely caught up.
I know Justin Williams told everyone it was fake.

No it does not become real until you believe it is real. The game just continued. But, i think the second stage was not planned to be this way at first, because it is very different then the fist stage. That is why people probably misjudged, because it is so different then before. Just my $0.2

I will admit I had fun with this forum, but I do agree he should get sued. Even if it was just a experiment... you can't just go around saying that your going to go blow up cities and set up timers.

Any normal person who would do that would get thrown in jail and be interrogated!

It could also prove that it's an experiment.

Once again, he never said he was going to blow up anything. He posted a comic strip depicting fictional scenarios of terrorist attacks. It stated they were fictional beneath them so legally, he did nothing wrong.

Also, the only things on jb12.info were random pictures, two timers, and Hamlet quotes. That's not illegal either.

People's imaginations made this into what it is, he should not be thrown in jail for that.
