Seriously, so they faked the time, or advanced it, and now I am scared again, what if next year is actually this year but they didn't want to scare anyone because someone got wise and decoded it so the fix is in...just like Kobe Bryant being "the best basketball player in the world".

SWEET! I actually really do hope something (not to the degree that is portrayed in the series, but something) happens. Maybe people will finally stand up. Lollers, like that will ever happen.

So many bitched about W stealing 2 elections, and nothing was ever done. Iran has one disputed election and the country is in a total upheaval. The air conditioning goes out in France and people are throwing cars through storefronts. Where is our group ready to *protest* for what's right?

Slide 16 of 30 in part 1 depicts a UK filling station, but the two posters on the wall to the right hand side of the image appear to be photoshopped.

The resolution is too low to make out clearly, but one shows a pentagon and a word followed by '12'. The other I have no idea.

Anyone able to make them out ?

The two signs at the "gas station" are hard to read...but the first in purple looks to me like an egyptian glyph. Also, the word just under it seems like the name Ammit/Annut...the Egyptian Goddess. I found information about this goddess here...

Yes, it has gone from BOTH versions now.

I am of the opinion that this particular slide was intended to reference Ardent Sentry, as the jpeg filename for that pic took the form ardent_sentry~.jpg (cant remember the numbers !)

One further observation, it appears that the first part was written on 12 Jan 09, which ties in with the registration of the jackblack domain. Other parts were written later.

The web pages also contain a lot of statistical tracking, indicating someone is taking a great interest in the visit or hits that the pages receive.

Good find on the website's 2nd timer. I was just at the website last night around 10pm CST and there was only 1 timer. I almost didn't believe your post until visiting the site myself.

I didn't pay much attention to the timer counting down, but it appears to be 1-year later than the initial timer right?

Anybody have any guesses what either of these timers are for?

When I first looked I thought the one on the right, with the pentagon said 'Public 12' but I just went through a blog written about blackjack and it shows the pentagon symbol with 'MT' under it. Perhaps 'Majestic 12'??

Also, the poster on the left with the purple symbol has 'AC' under it...

which looks to be some sort of text scroller, there's an encoded message all the way at the bottom. copy that code and go to the following site to decode it.

I just checked out the site not and I have all black. Upon highlighting I get a string of code that is moving in a wave across the screen. It is too difficult for me to catch up with or even know where it begins.

Also at the bottom it now says "Code Corrupted. Insert fresh copy."



This entire thing is intriguing me. I took a course on alternate reality gaming and viral marketing and this falls right into place with something of that caliber. HOWEVER, I just don't see the motive here or the target. Usually there is more information present and it isn't simply codes warning us about some catastrophic event.

This should definately be followed, and if anyone could decrypt the new floating code that would be great.

That is a link to a "Seconds to Years" calculator.

If you look at the title of that page with the two counters (jackblack12)
it says "Teardrop/Glasseye"
I don't know specifically what those names are in reference to in popular culture, but I can tell you my intuitive mind can think of a few things they reference.

Ex. Teardrop - Operation Teardrop. Sounds... tragic?
Ex. Glasseye - Operation Glasseye. That sounds to me like a possible Nuclear Armageddon Date, or even farfetchedly, Assimilation and Integration of Biologics with Mechanics (heh)

These counters seem to consistently count down by seconds so...

When I did the calculation to the first number (Teardrop) it was at:
1003180642. Which eaquals out to 31.788876277 years

I'm 22 now, so I would be 53-54 (if alive) by the time that counter reached 0

The second counter (Glasseye) was at:
2084224660. Which comes to 66.04509405 years.

I would be 88 if alive...

I truly wonder what those counters are for, and if they will be altered in the future as to how much time is left on them and so forth. I hope to live to see both of them fall to 0!

There is a tracking or a "stat counter" that is being used, for a particular OpenSource and popular "free" CMS or Content Management System, called Joomla. However, sources reveal the website was possibly, or at least partially created/uploaded from a Mac, through the website authoring and publishing tool called iWeb.

Even though the Registrar information is kept and registered as "Private", it is evident that the domain was registered through GoDaddy.com:

My point being, this appears to be an amateur site. Regestered for 1 year from GoDaddy, used easy and free simple tools to create website, ie, iWeb (Mac), Joomla, and various free online codes.

Whoever created it, they are tracking hits to the website by using a 1x1px Gif tracking image. From this they can find your IP, and relative location.
