Two very interesting and interrelated things will be seen about this shortly.

1) Who will fund this new endeavor since they have broken away from being US funded?

2) If their funding comes from fundamentalists/insurgents will they be taken out? Remember that when attacking, the United States has in the past taken out media outlets for example Radio and Television stations that were spreading the message of the enemy. If this newspaper becomes associated with the insurgents in Fallujah could they wind up in the crosshairs?

I don't know if the insurgents would take them out but I can be sure that the level of control the US exerted will be nothing next to Islamic fundamentalist control. It's becoming more and more obvious that this is a place we need to leave as quickly as we can without leaving a total vacumn.
