is this where the term "queer as a bird" stems from?

The natural outcome for all species is to reproduce (or make more of themselves) being homosexual goes against the survival of the species therefore is unnatural imo.

How can you call a certain behaviour "unnatural"? Nature enfolds everything that exists, so there's no such thing as "unnatural". Homosexuality is part of nature. Accept it.

If it so natural to be gay, i would like to see a homosexual couple make a baby naturally, using no technology, only naturally.

You have your definitions all wrong. The concept of nature is not to procreate. Grab a dictionary please

Oh really? Taken biology lately? Life wants to survive. I suggest you go take some biology and come back with a better answer.

I'm merely trying to correct you in your incorrect use of the language.

Nature:

1. The world and its naturally occurring phenomena, together with all of the physical laws that govern them.
2. Living organisms and their environments.

Being a breeder of both German Shepherds and a herd of over 20 rare goats....I just have to reply to this thread....OMG
I can't believe some of the posts I am reading!.. What you guys are seeing as homosexual behavior is nothing more than a showing of dominance. In at least both packs and herds ....all that an individual animal cares about is status.....where exactly it fits in the order of things...once order is established....there is peace....
What you are viewing as homosexual acts are fights for dominance and nothing more.....outrageously COMMON and certainly commonplace around here.!

No tap water here.
Yes, I live in that other country....RURAL America
I guess the thing that ANGERS me most with what I know is "MY tax dollars paid for this study?" NO WAY (Highly suspicious)
Anyone who deals with larger groups of animals knows that it's just a sign of dominance.
Who's on top I guess

This fact has been known and ignored for decades by biologists around the world. A book called Evolution's Rainbow by Joan Roughgarden is a pretty good read about the subject.

Gay is so normal and widespread in the animal kingdom. Even bugs are gay. You start to wonder if it's humans who went a bit weird with the whole tag the straight line.
On another point, why are straight people so obsessed with gayness?
It's, like, so... gay? It's not like gay people sit around talking about straightness and whether it's natural, or you're born straight, or...OMG, all the animals are straight!
It must be natural! oh! ah! wonder of wonders! Even then it's not like the mainstream will change their minds about homosexuality. People are fed what they are to believe. Most people still think that the milky way is our home galaxy! har! har! har!

What is natural is for the opposite sexes of species to be attracted to each other, then mate and create offspring. Anything else is not natural.

I have met homos that say homosexuality is a choice, and other homos say it is not a choice. This leads me to believe it is a mental issue.

Since we have no way of knowing what animals know, we will never know if they are just confused or not. How is an unintelligent (no education) dog supposed to know the difference between a male or female dog? How is an unintelligent dog supposed to know that mating with another dog of the same sex will not produce offspring? If a dog is aroused by another dog, no matter what sex it is, it will probably try to mate with it. Heck, I used to have a dog that tried to mate with a stuffed toy. I think it is confusion, or just uncontrolled behavior.

Homosexuals; Just because you are attracted to the same sex, and your body tells you that you are attracted to the same sex... it doesn't mean it is right, or should be done. Go ahead and do whatever you want... Many people will always know, deep down, it's just wrong.

There is a difference between humans and animals, black widow spiders kill, should we humans do it, because animals do it?

Pigs live in filth...well animals do it..so its ok to live in filth...

Goats eat cans and clothes....who wants seconds..?

Just because animals have weird unsual behaviors does not mean we should do it...if you want to live like an animal do it 100%, and do not be a part of society.

Animals with weird and unusual behaviour...yeah, cause humans never kill, live in filth or eat disgusting things. If anyone opposed to homosexuality actually read a bit about why different animals use homosexuality you'd get a better idea. This whole idea that humans are different and have morality is total bunk.
beetles use it to get rid of old sperm. bonobo monkeys use it to strengthen the bonds of their community and get rid of anger. The list goes on and on.

Homophobia comes from religion, not morality. And fear. But of course, everyone can fit their facts and scream morality to support their bigotry. Just as people do to support their sexism or racism. Welcome to the 21st century where people can continue their hatred for others who are different, but make sure it stays subtle and under the radar, huh?

Same here, my sister has a gay dog too, he's always trying to hump my male dog, but completely ignores my female dog. Unfortunately, my dog is straight and really doesn't appreciate the attention. At first we thought it was just a male dominance thing, but it quickly became obvious that he was enjoying himself far too much

Even getting him fixed hasn't solved the problem!

Right you are, but my (non sexual) experience with the homosexual community is that there is a lot of chickenhawks in the mix, probably more than the average for pedophile behaviour in heterosexual populations, which is actually pretty rare by all counts.

Again. A sweeping statement... based on? Yes there are a lot of older men that prefer younger male partners. But in no way or form is there less of this in the heterosexual "world".

And I'm not sure whether a big age difference really qualifies for the paedophile label? Would that make Demi Moore a paedophile?

Back to the "oh so innocent heterosexual male". Many dads have fantasies about their daughters' best friends. I mean there's a whole industry in the Porn business based on the "Catholic School Girl Fetish". Pretty rare? I think not.

Love what you said about Demi Moore....people critisize men who are with younger women, but look the other way when it's a woman robbing the cradle!

I had 3 beta fish. Two females. One male. The male and one of the females mated, produced eggs and everything. (ate the egss .. so no babies!) When the male died, the females then became 'buddies'. They'd hug all over each other and do mating procedures.

Critters adapt.

This is an issue that no one is ever going to agree on regardless of what information is brought forward. These kind of posts seem to always provoke more of an emotional discussion rather than a productive one.

Sounds like you need to send your dog to "straight camp" to show him the errors of his "choice" of homosexual "lifestyle"

Exactly, and also from a religious point of view. The whole "homos are destined for hell crap."
