How about illegally starting a war based on lies, or torture is that legal?thats just the stuff we know about, he's a very smart man and I'm
sure he can do much more illegal activity without leaving proof.

Hmmm well what lies are those exactly that he told to start the war THAT THE CONGRESS APPROVED?
If it was torture why did the Justice Dept approve it and why didnt the Congress people including Pelosi take it before the people or before the
court when they were briefed on it?

The lies were the weapons of mass destruction that were never found and isn't torture against the Geneva convention, dont we shake our fingers
at other countries that have poor human rights practices.

Like I said if it was torture then why did the Justice Dept say it wasnt? I believe it is called Enhanced Interrogation.
Also, if the CIA told him their were weapons of mass destruction is it his fault that their werent. Did you expect him to fly over and verify what
the CIA presented to him?

I did not say whether I believed there were WMD's or not, I said that Bush/Cheney just gave the information that they had been given by the CIA.

Defending Cheney is like defending evil, imho. The guy's a monster, who will be recorded in history as such.

Are you kidding me? Does anyone in this country research or read anymore?
I mean beside obviously trumped up articles by the likes of Madson...
Do you rally want to know what Busch/Cheney knew about WMD and why we went to war? Read Hide and Seek: The Search for truth in Iraq by Charles
Duelfer.
Do you want to see the consequences of the leftist media reaction to claims of torture and American atrocities? Read Lone Survivor by Marcus
Luttrell.
And by the way people, if you are gonna talk about something, say it right. It's WMD not WMDs. They are Weapons of Mass Destruction not Weapons of
Mass Destruction's.

Maybe for 2 reasons.
2. Obama is trying to say that everything Cheney/Bush did was some heinous crime and they were a disease against humanity.
he was... and i voted for him twice. i don't blame bush.. i do blame cheney.

Obama drew first blood releasing damning documents and then refusing to release the other documents that would prove who was right about
Waterboarding.
actually, obama shoulda / coulda had him prosecuted. why hasn't he? was cheney pardoned via some sort of "classified" means?
i don't doubt anything. the guy is a menance to society and should be tried. preferably for war crimes.

I hope you dont think Cheney has Americas best interest in mind. He is only out for himself, making himself richer and destroying anyone or
anything in his way!
Show me some proof of anything Cheney has done to destroy anyone or anything in his way or really has done anything that is against the law?
the list is long. i'll start with presidential powers... he was a strong proponant of skirting the constitution to give the president more powers.
read up on this.
911... i do believe he was in part behind this one. i wouldn't have believed it a few years ago, but the evidence is mounting.
how much is he aware of the black op programs? in particular those involving illegal torture, rape, etc. of innocent victims? how much is he aware
and / or has seen this as well as the illegal genetic testing and creations of hideous creatures that are part human? did he do anything about it?
just my own thoughts.....
this last one is a big one... especially for a man who was in his position. was he aware? has he seen? was he a part of? did he do anything?

The only way Cheney will get what he has coming to him is if an extremely patriotic American tracks him down and delivers it personally. But it will
not come from "official" channels.
Iraq and 911 were real moneymakers for supporters of the administration. Billions of dollars in gold vanished from basement vaults of the WTC and
hundreds of billions of dollars of cash have disappeared in Iraq.

i think the best alternative is for the people to take back their country. pull the constitution and bill of rights back up from the thread that it
is hanging on.
visually, i see the statue of liberty as struggling... sometimes fallen... sometimes being buried by important people.

cheney's own words:
An overview of the vice president's views on presidential power and covert action that shows a remarkable consistency from the 1980s to today.
www.pbs.org...
The Hidden Power
The legal mind behind the White House’s war on terror.
www.newyorker.com...
just a bit of research will show what an outright, deceptive and dangerous man this really is. it doesn't take much to find more. where there is
smoke, there is fire. a immoral, corrupt man does not leave his baggage at the door. especially when in tough times.
unfortunately for american's many bought into his words and upfront "good character" he's not the only one.

if lady justice was returned to her rightful position and many of these people were prosecuted, we stand a good chance of sending a message to those
who we elect to power.
as it stands... it's a haven of immoral conduct and dealings. why? because it's allowed, plus they hide it well.
then there's "classified" a term used all too loosely to cover up misdeeds and illegal conduct.
