I'm posting this as a heads up after the way the G20 protests were handled.

Amnesty International groups in London have teamed upwith the Refugee Council, Refugee Action, Hackney Refugee & Migrant SupportGroup, London Detainee Support Group and others to organise a demonstrationcalling for an end to the destitution of refused asylum seekers.

The march takes place on Saturday 20June as part of Refugee Week. It will start at 12 noon at Embankment and head off past Westminster to Trafalgar Square, where a rally insupport of asylum seekers will be held.

I've just heard that there could be up to 100,000 people attending. (Info from someone with the emergency services.)

I was going to take my daughters to Westminster on Saturday for a sightseeing tour....think i'll give it a miss now.

Do you think this has the potential for trouble considering the topic and the amount of people who will be angry at the goverment over it?

CX.
