what are the known facts of our coming demise? what signs are out there that show us that times are about to get really rough?

I figure "Coallapse" has nothing to do with coal, but the signs of economic collapse are here because many common people are already printing m like corrupt governments do.

who's printing the cash?
Are you refering to the American Mint or counterfeiters?
I've had American money before, (sorry if presumptuously wrong about where you are!) there are water-marks etc, which would make the process more difficult!
You should see Australian Money!
Its of a flexible polymer, complete with intricate raised designs, holograms etc. A counterfeiters absolute nightmare.

Life without m(oney).. one could only imagine that type of world.

Wouldn't we just go back to bartering, eventually adopting a proxy to represent the barter items -- like a receipt or "note" representing ownership of said item.

Eventually the value of items would be standardized, and something like "1 hog" would be worth "3 horses" or "1/1000 of a house" or something like that?

Getting rid of money would only work until people adopted it again, which wouldn't take long.

What signs are there?...hhmmmm

A few signs are around and in several different designs

1. Global economy.
2. Global warming/cooling? (UK predicts a heat wave this summer)
3. Yellowstone park Volcano www.abovetopsecret.com...
4. Magnetosphere www.abovetopsecret.com...
5. Iran, Israel, North Korea.. a war of some kind perhaps?
6. Swine flu www.abovetopsecret.com...
7. Nibiru or some other form of planet/comet/asteroid making a close pass to Earth.
8. Polar shift.
9. Increased sightings of UFO's

All these are current runners for the title..
It may be possible that we will still see other things come into the news or other media that might suggest other methods.

But then again.. we might not see anything happen...
We might just all wake up one morning and wonderously begin thinking, acting and living in a completely new way.. and finally shed our skins of this state that we currently live and generally dislike..

Time will tell, as they say
