so many of the comments about fox news start with the phrase, "i don't watch fox news but..." well I do watch fox news. first of all, let me point
out that it is a cable news channel, comparable to CNN. it is not a broadcast network like ABC, CBS, NBC, so there is no real comparison in people
reached.
i don't watch the news segments of fox news, but the commentators. It would be easy to believe fox news is "in the pocket of the republican party"
because they do present the republican as well as conservative, libertarian and independent point of view. They always balance these with liberal and
democrat points of view. the reason you are confused is because the main networks never present republicans at all. try watching any of the shows and
you will discover that if the commentator has a particular viewpoint, the opposite will be presented by a guest.
This ABC broadcasting from the white house on a particular issue is really scary. i don't know what it means for the future of the broadcast media.
