so many of the comments about fox news start with the phrase, "i don't watch fox news but..." well I do watch fox news. first of all, let me point out that it is a cable news channel, comparable to CNN. it is not a broadcast network like ABC, CBS, NBC, so there is no real comparison in people reached.

i don't watch the news segments of fox news, but the commentators. It would be easy to believe fox news is "in the pocket of the republican party" because they do present the republican as well as conservative, libertarian and independent point of view. They always balance these with liberal and democrat points of view. the reason you are confused is because the main networks never present republicans at all. try watching any of the shows and you will discover that if the commentator has a particular viewpoint, the opposite will be presented by a guest.

This ABC broadcasting from the white house on a particular issue is really scary. i don't know what it means for the future of the broadcast media.

It’s clear that ABC is the 21st century Pravda and we are seeing the rise of the new world leader in our new world order. Americans aren’t going to stop this, most of them are hoping beyond hope that Obama will usher in a new era of world peace and prosperity and they are willing to give up some “absolute” standards like a free and independent press in order to achieve their “utopia”. I have never seen such a “land grab” of private enterprise and financial institutions before in American history. We are watching the fall of western society and we don’t even know it. Our dollar is failing, our investments are tanking, our homes are bottoming in value, yet in all of this we are so desperate for Obama to succeed that we see the ever “increasing” unemployment numbers each month and we are encouraged to find optimism because the new unemployment numbers are a little less then what was feared. We in all of this shouldn’t be surprised that a news agency like ABC would sell their souls to gain the “great one’s “ favor and become his “propaganda machine”, in fact we should all be surprised that the rest of the news world hasn’t done it to this extreme as well.

You know, if the government would just make it a law that health insurance companies cannot turn customers away, and that premiums must be affordable (within a certain percentage of salary)...we wouldn't have this problem.

The problem is is that the insurance industry is so freaking powerful, and gives so much money to the corrupt congress, that no congressman/senator will ever dare bringing up a bill that could restrict health insurance companies.

They say that the government shouldn't get invovled in private business! Ha!! Why is it ok for them to make laws saying that everyone must be covered by car insurance, but it's not ok to say that everyone must be covered by health insurance?

If the congress and senate just got some balls and stood up to the insurance lobby, we wouldn't have the current problems we have. But they don't. And so now, because the insurance companies refuse to get ethical, and the US government refuses to bite the hand that feeds them, we're in this mess....and now we have to have government run health care.

It's discrimination what health insurance companies do, and someone should bring forth a law suit to the supreme court saying that discrimination against, race, color, creed, religion, and HEALTH STATUS should be illegal in the eyes of the law.

the melodrama and sensationalism... this place and its constituents, and others like it, do more to hurt serious conspiracy research and legitimate political discussion than any shadowy NWO could ever hope to.

most of the republican people think that gov't health care is bad probably dont know that england has a good health system and its ran by there gov't I think that if the gov had a health system it would do two thing
1- save all business money,time,also cut down lawsuits
2- save the U.S. from having to pay for health care 2 times A- we pay for gov't employees and military health care. B- then we pay for medicare and medicaid

I personally wouldn't mind a government run health care. Actually, I think the only people that really care are health insurance companies who fear they will have major competition. It will put a lot of health care insurance companies out of business, but I'm pretty certain it wont put ALL of them out of business.

That's the point. Government controlled health care/insurance will wipe out competition. There will eventually be no other choice.A health care monopoly,where you get the care ordered not necessarily the care needed.
Think of Government run health care like Wal-mart. Wal-mart came in and under cut competition,putting smaller concerns out of business. Now Wal-mart pretty well has the market sown up with little competition anymore. They set their prices.
Socialized health care,yet another nail in the coffin of free enterprise!!!!

And they can shove their national healthcare where the sun don't shine (edit to say, SIDEWAYS). People are wayyy over medicated as it is. If I need doctoring I do it myself most of the time. Hell only 30-40 years ago you had to be at death's door to see a doctor. National healthcare is just another of the NWO way to get total and complete control of everything about you.

NBC has reported "live from the white house" in may, i think. now its ABC turn. there is no need to go to wal-mart and buy all the guns and beer they have.

And notice how the story isn't on FOX or MSNBC as it is ALL about Korea.

I'm just fed up with all the bs on how they conduct the news...one story constantly to avoid the bigger picture.

I knew they'd do this tho as soon as the switch to DTV was made, I just thought it would take them a little while longer, but apparently not since it starts later this month. And you gotta know this is only the beginning. I think some huge event will come that will take away freedom of the press soon. You can see they're positioning their chess pieces on a more quicker scale now.

With this story, Tony Blair's one world religion movement starting and Maitreya apparently coming any time now, it's all getting quite scary.
