Never Again...

Yeah...never again.

The place was ultimately a sweat shop, the 'international experience' is unfortunately contained of people who can't hold a conversation and the vessel manager (in my direct experience) yelled out a denigration of an employee (f-bomb).

The hours were long (sixteen and a half hour shifts with twop fifteen minute breaks and one half hour break) with Nazi supervisors who constantly reminded people that fifteen nminute breaks were not sixteen or seventeen minute breaks and that restroom trips were reserved for emergencies only.

But the scenery was nice (a few pics since batteries were not available; won't be uploaded tonight since I am in transition).

And to top it all off they wouldn't cut me my last check for hours worked (though they cut it for the three people who I traveled with today) which leaves me stranded in Anchorage (I don't have enough to travel to Seattle to pick up the check where it will be issued). I have to call family now.

Which is fine save for my pride.

There is more but I am scattered all over the place dealing with travel and finances etc...

Oh no, mem is back. Everyone hide.

Due to battery issues I only have pictures from the flight. Which is kind of a bummer because I would have liked to have shown you guys the Japanese boat I dealt with (I was relatively lucky in my work allocation since I was able to communicate with the other boat) and as well the area where I worked. But no worries...I have some epic scenery shots...

Flying over the mountains in Canada, Alaska, and Washington was incredible. I am hard pressed to cite any other landscape that impressed me so much...a few pics...







I also passed over Mt Redoute on the way to Anchorage yesterday...which is a volcano that is currently molting and has been for 4 months. I was pretty stoked about this and, on a side note, a few days prior when I was still on the boat and had no idea that i would be leaving when I did, I dreamt that I went to a homecoming/party of a friend of mine that I haven't seen in years but communicate with online. In the dream, I asked her if she wanted to hang out or something of that nature and she replied that she was headed on a tour to observe Volcanic activity...which lead to epic dream visuals of Volcanos erupting. Any way, interesting coincedence that I cannot explain just yet...and I don't quite believe in prophetic dreams...







And did I mention that I loved the scenery from the air...
