Yes the EU and the US are far worse off, according to the charts, than during the Great Depression.
Did you notice the news quit making the comparison. Probably in fear of electronic runs on the banks.. Paulson and Bernanke shut down all banking for
an our last year to up FDIC to 250,000 or we would have have a complete global collapse. Scary Isnt it?
