I brought this up on another thread as a joke. But after watching some more police brutality videos .... especialy where they pulled over that ambulance driver .... sob's. I'm planning on sending a real care package to my local police deparment in the next week or two. So far, the only item I can think of is ....

New target practice posters, .... with chihuahua's and old women printed on them.

Now, .... my question to you is ........ what would you send ????

minor side note..... would this be considered illegal in any fashion.

yeah, a mandate for there next pay talks.
reduction in working week
no night shift
every weekend off
double their wages
early retirement at 50.
REMEMBER always be nice to a police enforcement officer, you never know when you need one .

Illegal... No I don't see how... but it will focus their attention onto you... and that may not be something you desire....

As for care packages? ... Maybe copies of the constitution with the pertinent amendments that deal with aspect of their jobs highlighted....

Doughnuts ... gotta send them some krispy creams.

something hemp... it doesn't matter what just so long as it is a legal hemp item.

And if you really want to give them a target practice thing... Give them the face of that Arizonian Sheriff that only feeds his inmates twice a day...with a nice tag at the bottom that would read, don't be like this guy!

Don't give them anything that relates to the people.... YOu would not want to desensitize them any more than they already are.

star, and flag for you! The second comment got it right. Nothing illegal where there is no harm, but They'll only harass you.

I'm guessing the first comment was from a cop. He'd be the one harassing you.

From what I've seen on the news lately the only time I'll be needing a cop is when I want myself beat up.

My vote? Some anti chaffing(sp) panties.

A few copies of Alex Jones' "Police State 2000" and "Terrorstorm" would be pretty nice.

I don't know that I would send them anything...but...
It might be a good idea to keep doughnuts within reach while your driving...(The kind with lots of sprinkles).... that way if you get pulled over and they whip out the old Taser you toss out a doughnut and while they chase after it you make good your escape...

You could send them some stickers of old women, dogs, motorists, cyclists, people of Hispanic descent etc. Include with the stickers a picture of a WW2 ace and how they used to apply their 'kills' below the cockpit window. Thus instructing them on how to properly apply the stickers below the drivers side window of their black and white patrol cars after every encounter.

I think there's a great combination of ideas here.

Som ChiHuawa Target practice posters and stickers to slap on the side of the squad cars, with symbols of Tazed dogs, Grandmothers, Donuts and kids.

We'd then be able to watch out for the 'Aces' of the war against freedom.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

How about sending them nothing. Not all cops are bad and not all departments are bad.

All it is going to do is make you look bad....and provide the department with endless amounts of jokes at the expense of you.

How about sending a thank you to all the cops who are good and law abiding and take their job seriously and do their best to be the best cops possible.

Or apply and make change from within.

When you get your basket together let me know what you put in it, I might send one here too

As far as being nice I have only ever come across one cop... out of MANY.. that was nice. I don't know about the rest of the country but it's bad in the two surrounding towns here. I like this idea

So you've got evidence of your local police dept doing what you're declaring?

Or are you saying all police officers are the same, and prejudice is warranted?

Yeah I've personally been arrested when their was no call for it. the charge was later DROPPED. ......
They also searched my cousin with no probable cause and lied in court about it. ...... charges ??? DROPPED.

I'm just happy the system isn't completely corrupt and we had lawyers who stood up for whats right.

Even if there are a few good cops at the department. I think they'll get the point. maybe have a few laughs.

I was also thinking of sending some self help books about self esteem.

Sounds like you should read them first before mailing them.

I dabble in the arts. Actually I do voice overs in Pornagraphic movies, .... oh you work for a medical company I see, ... I do some freelancing in pharmacuticals myself. Although my life long dream was to become a police officer, ..... my IQ was too high to be accepted, aparantely they dont accept anyone above " dipsh*t" I'm still appealing it, unfortunately they want people who only know how to use tazers, not understand how they actually work.
