Your statement is only true under conditions of corporate greed, vested interests, and control. It is false under conditions of actual freedom, where people are able to supply inventions and solutions without obstruction from financial oppressors.

i completly agree
when i hear stories about old age pensioners being attacked

or babies being raped

or suicide bombers killing women children innocents etc...

it makes me sick, and to some degree ashamed to be human

I made a thread a while ago stating the exact same things as the OP.

I wrote about 5 paragraphs on why human's are virus like and need to be wiped out, It turned into a major slag fest with people getting the wrong end of the stick and thinking i was stating that i would murder everybody with a chainsaw.

So prepare yourself mate, you will get a couple post's qouting agent smith from the matrix and a lot more saying lead by example you go first type's

I even had a mod ask me to lead by example and go first haha which i thought was funny!

Humans are scum everything about us is wrong these days, And dont give me crap about oh there good people still left out there because they are not who represent us these days.

Everybody is selfish and self serving its the way we was wired WRONG

Lay off the whatever it is your are swallowing, shooting, drinking, smoking, or inserting anally because I think you've had too much of whatever it is. Once you have laid off the stuff for a while and get over the withdrawl symptoms, then go do something positive, plant a tree, help an old lady cross the street, clean a park, something, or maybe you are lonely, either get a mate or get a dog you'll feel happier. So because everybody is lost and misguided they should be killed off? You can prove yourself wrong by not just focusing on the bad. Where there is one, there is always the other. Yin/Yang, ya know? Sometimes the balance tips one way, then goes the other, nothing is permanent. What are you doing to make the world better for yourself and those around you? Chances are, you probably represent the very person that the OP has listed but probably doesn't see that in himself. If we are a virus, then all of life is a virus, should live cease to exist because of this fact?

You know, evidence points to widespread incest and cannibalism among early humans. We ain't no saints, not by a long shot. There is another thread floating around here about how some scientists believe we came to dominate the Neandertals: by eating them.

We didn't make it to the top of the food chain by being squeamish, to paraphrase another poster. We are violent carnivorous apes.

And yet there is beauty in life, love, so much...the skittering of leaves across a courtyard in the autumn breeze, the paper-thin liver-spotted skin on the backs of my mother's aged hands...staying up late with old friends and hashing it out; the joys and ecstasies of mountain kayaking or making love...the profound wisdom found in hundreds of thousands of beautiful texts only a few clicks away from you at this very moment. If the human race is so wrong why do you wish its destruction.... what ever happened to fixing it, our history is filled with solo people who have changed humanity and proving that one person can do that, one person has the power in themselves to change the world.
But on another note.... why change it? Isn’t killing, raping and stealing normal?
Look and other species on this planet....ALL of them will fight and allot of the time they will fight to the death simply for what they want, wether its sex or food doesn't matter, they show the same violence and destruction that we do.
I am 25 and happily married to my wife, I grew up in south Auckland and anyone that knows New Zealand would know that south Auckland is the most poverty stricken and most dangerous place in New Zealand, I have seen people shot simply for the shoes on their feet, so what did I do? I became a paramedic... simply to save people in that position, and I don’t get paid for it, over 90% of New Zealand’s emergency response force is volunteer that includes fire fighters and coast guard too.
I could go on and on about the good things humans do but you seem to have this mind set that can’t be changed, and you are spreading misery on this board, I believe in freedom of speech so would never ask you to shut up because that’s wrong…. But how about re-wording your topic by replacing all the DIE words with ENJOY LIFE

Basically I believe that all the people that wish death on humanity are wanting me dead and I despite that and think you are no better than the people that commit murder, at least the murderers actually had the guts to do something.

I know you are not serious, but I never found this kind of advice to be terribly illuminating when people complain about overpopulation or deliberate online about suicide.

You know, I probably would have checked out myself at one point or another long ago if it were not for the sense of RESPONISBILITY to my FAMILY. We have a responsibility to those who we love and who love us. Like it or not, I must labor with them in mind. Life is not a purely selfish experience...perhaps unfortunately. I do not consider my life fully my own. Much of it is the property of those I love and am responsible for. This makes it harder to make the decision "check out," but unfortunately changes nothing about the facts of overpopulation (be they as they may).

You guys are a really encouraging lot. Is that what happens when you become enlightened? You shoot down your fellow man?

Instead of reaching your hand out to assist another's outstretched hand you look at his sorrow filled face and kick him back down. The OP does have a good point. Sure, complete eradication isn't the answer, but there definitely needs to be a monumental change in favour of us little men.

If it doesn't come soon, it won't come at all. That looks like what is most likely, and that's quite scary. Not just for you but the future generations that won't know any better. Populations that have been indoctirnated by mainstream regimes and ways of life will only get worse each generation unless wisdom is shared. I know that is what a lot of the posters here are trying to do, though it doesn't seem some of you don't want to help one person out. If you can't help one how do you expect to help the world?

What a provocative post. That is a great way to expose hypocrites, liars, deniers and the ignorant.How many of the people who were offended by this thread drive an SUV or similar gas guzzler? How many own atv's, boats or other fossil fuel wasting toys? How many live in or own more than 500 square feet per occupant that they heat, cool and electrify? How many have run over and or destroyed plants and animals and thought nothing of it? how many own an older car with little or no pollution control equipment? I could go on and on. The final question is: How many millions of westerners do not care enough about the environment and there effect upon it to change their way of life?
