Police confiscated guns, explosives, bomb-making equipment, and more than 4,000 CDs containing training and instruction from Osama bin Laden.
The suspects are believed to be affiliated with Al Qaeda and are a part of the Ansar al-Islam group. They planned to flee to Iraq if the bombing was
successfully carried out.
The summit, taking place on June 27 and 28, marks the formal induction of Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Slovenia and Slovakia into
NATO.
