On 6 June at around 6pm a Mr Goa was driving through the Chinese city of Taiyuan near the Yi-Fen bridge when he saw a totally unexplainable UFO hovering in the sky above him. Mr Goa pulled up at the side of the road and observed the object for around 40minutes. He managed to take a number of photos with his mobile phone.

The object appears to be morphing from a diamond to an orb. While the source is questionable, these photos are interesting and thats why Id like to hear some ideas what this could be, thanks.

really hard to say on this one. Here's why. In my area, on stretches of highway where there is high wind, they have round balls on the power lines to keep them from moving in a ressonant wave form and ripping the lines off the poles. That's what this looks like to me.

I disagree with the photographic artifact thing. It is not always in the same position relative to the sun.

As for shape changing, these things I am talking about are shaped a bit like saturn with the rings and all. If the wind is blowing the thing will rotate on the wire and the shape will appear to change, especially in a graining flat gray scale image. BTW, I don't see a diamond changing to a sphere... I see a sphere with rings that disappear when you look at them on edge.

Take a digital camera, point it at the sun, and take a picture.

You also will come up with pictures of the "morphing UFO".

The large black spot is what happens when the camera's sensors are overloaded.

They WOULD NOT be uniform in ANY 2 pictures as the sensors are overloaded and it is not giving a correct picture from the start.

They are all pictures of the same sun.

Firstly, your source has been automatically removed.
For more on why that is you can read the thread about it here:

And the reply by Springer here:

Now, onto the images, as mentioned it is an effect created by the camera when it gets an information overload, meaning it can't process that much light.

Try staring at the sun to get a similar result.

As you can see it's a fairly common occurrence:

Be very wary of what ANW puts out, they don't bother with fact checking.

Which again is blatantly obvious from this thread.
