OK. So, Letterman made a stupid joke.

And apparently a security guard got shot by an alleged white supremacist.

Stupid jokes get cracked every day, and if you have a cell phone you probably have at least one of them on it via text message.

As sad as it is for the guards family, people get shot and killed every day, by all kinds of people, across the world.

Ever get the feeling your attention is being shanghaied?

What really happened in the USA in the past few days? Because it seems like things have gone into overdrive to put two fairly trivial things into the stratosphere - and I'm a conspiracy theorist at heart, so I'm wondering if there is anything deeper thats gone on?

The menace of our times is a type of journalism that seeks to preoccupy, cause emotional commotion, overblow, stereotype...in order to $ell papers. The even bigger problem is a complicit populace and their endless chatter.

Way below the superficial veneer of false indignation and thesis-antithesis is the world and how it really operates. It is accessible for those combining a unique mix of calm, curiosity and care.

You know for what it's worth, I was thinking the same thing today as I was browsing the news. There was all this jabber going on about the Palin joke Letterman made and I was like, "Who cares?! Don't we have "freedom of speech", or did that go away?"

Who knows.

With the way the media tries to control everything, I'm surprised if we ever get the whole picture on anything these days. Seems like a bunch of smoke and mirrors are being used to control the populace.

I'd say that right now in History, we are at the absolute pinnacle of world tension without being in a world war. The biggest thing that has ever happened, is about to happen. It is everything, all at once, right now.

-Swine flu level 6 pandemic.

-People are getting sick of what is going on in Korea.

-The economy is completely fake.

-The corruption at the highest levels of TPTB is really starting to bleed over into reality in obvious ways.

-Not only do an entire segment of the Nations of the world have nukes, and ICBM's but also, they are pissed at us.

-I'm kinda scared of what the Russians and Chinese are plotting right now.

-North Korea is completely and totally impossible to invade(without using an insane amount of WMD's). They are dug in like Georgia ticks.
